Is anyone in the State of Washington interested in smoking pot? Do those who are, know of a kindly doctor who isn't afraid to sign the referral or at least recommend a doctor who will? Just a couple very important questions I've been carrying around with no answers.
I am a member of a Seattle group of MMP trying to get something off the ground. Contact me and I will file you in and try and suggest a Doctor.
I had given up but the forces that be led me back to this site and imagine my surprise when I saw your message. I am hoping it is not too late to respond to your message.

There is cannacare and THCF but it is a bit like going to see Dr. Nick of the Simpsons. Plus none of the dispensaries (or courts for that matter) are going to take their reccomendations seriously. Unfortunately, because of the attitude about marijuana usage in Washington (which seems to me to be a combination of paranoia and arrogance IMO) marijuana decriminalization is way behind the rest of the west coast. I wish people would stop acting like a bunch of kids smoking in their parents basment and just come out with it. I smoke weed, no big deal. I doesn't mean I am better or worse than anyone else.:thumbsup:
Yeah, I've been looking for a doctor for some time now (I'm not even sure what, but I have some serious issues with being able to eat). I've had no luck at all.

I contacted this guy and his only advice was to call the number in the Seattle weekly. WOW! Great advice, call THCF and get a BS MMJ licence. All you have to pay is $200 for a bullshit Dr visit (think Mexican Pharmacy), from a Dr (orvald) who has already been indicted for dispensing MMJ licences in Oregon Washington and Hawaii (maybe Colorado too). They play the part of the heroic non-profit group but really they are just grey marketeers trying to cash in on unclear laws. What is the expense? Well when you get busted and have to go to court to prove your case do you think they are going to be there? NO, they have your $200 and that is all they wanted. As far as they are concerned you can rot in a prison cell.Quote:
