here's my problem:
today i tried to do some work on my coke bottle bong. i emptied it of the water (it's been in there for about 2 days) and i just caught a whiff of the inside and it smelled FUCKING PUTRID! does it just do this with plastic bongs or do glass ones have this problem? or should i just make another one and empty the water after every session? any and all help is greatly appreciated

Over time with any bong the smell will stay and the taste will start to get nasty. I never used a coke can so I wouldnt know if it would still smell. I'm sure that it will. Also I think no matter what you are using you always change the water.
is there any way to get rid of the smell/taste after its already there? im guessing rubbing alcohol?
You only start to notice it after a while so with a new one you wont have to worry about that. You can mask it, but I dont think you can get rid of it.

Should be fine, but I dont know how shit will stick to a can. I've only used a ceramic bong.
unfortunately it's like that with almost any surface that smoke passes through... even glass to an extent but plastic and acrylic pieces usually smell the worst

When I leave the water in my bubbler for a while that gets nasty... turns a browish/green color... disgusting. Smells like pure shit
