If they refuse to sign it, they're Leo. You might need to adjust the wording, but I learned this from the xxx industry. Anyone entering the xxx industry is usually asked to sign a similar declaration. Oh, make sure this person shows you valid photo ID to prove he is who he says he is when he signs the document. Note the ID number, etc. on the form for comparison and confirmation should you ever need it as court evidence.

It's not your word against his, because the cop can say "yeah, I smoked pot so I could bust him" and it would be legal. It's not just that the cops don't have to admit to the crime, they're completely allowed to break the law. There was a story on the news here a few days ago about cops who actually received oral sex (not just asking for it) from an escort service they wanted to bust. It was perfectly legal...Quote:

Everytime I've been busted it was from a confidential informant. A snitch, not a cop. Someone close to me got busted and rolled. Thats the way it works around here. I think any of the judges that I've been in front of would have got a good laugh out of the signed paper. At best it might keep the people who are to wigged out anyway from signing. And I dont think a law enforcrment officer can break any laws, that is called entrapment. Now a snitch can do anything and everything up to and including fucking you in the ass.

Cop is an INFORMAL annotation for a police officer (MEANING ITS SLANG).. so when u say "cop" it doesnt mean shit.. use the real words...
You've got it backwards. The only sane person who would sign such a statement would be an undercover officer. The written statement itself is just more evidence of illegal activity which the officer would just use against the defendant. If a non-officer signs the statement, then they're just creating evidence that could be used against them.
If I were a cop running an undercover operation I'd have my targets sign statements like this and then use it against them. "Why did you sign that statement certifying you're not an officer if you didn't know something illegal was going on?"
There's no way to tell if someone's a cop until they're on the witness stand. Don't risk rotting in jail, spend your time and money fighting for legalization.

...from what I've seen they (the USA law enforcment agencies) do really seem to play this angle...basically a pyscologial angle on people in a vunerable situation...cooperate or well lose you your job etc etc etc...i.e. stuff in reality they cannot do. In other words they are being unethical in threatening people, playing bad head games, so that they become snitches (grasses here in the UK)...pretty rare for people to become tame grasses in that way here.

As I said before, getting a person to show ID and sign a note that he/she is not involved in an entrapment activity is the best policy. I've seen it work regardless of what you say here that it won't. But, again, each country and locality may operate differently. Check your local laws and do some reading in the law library.

I've been the object of four raids by the popos and done time for two of them. I have also been at others places that were being raided, ie: seed stores, head shop. The popos dectectives used to know me by sight, it seems I was on some list as a king pin. I'll tell you now that I've never bowled in my life. I got caught up in life on the streets at an early age. I went for an elevator ride while hand cuffed and was told (when I finaly awoke) that I fell down, repeatedly, causing broken ribs and an two week stay in the county hospitrals jail ward, handcuffed and shackled to a bed. I've been through two prison riots where the national gaurd was called in and were shooting at us, not to maim and not with wooden bullets. The reason I post what I do is beause I've been there, sitting handcuffed to all types of objects watching the popos lie, steal and commit crimes. For me enough was enough when released on parole last time, no drugs for me, period. I dont care how many states pass legalizing drugs, the federal government has the last say so. In todays internet headlines on my ISP, the justice department is quoted saying that it is going to go after all weed users, growers and internet sites that deal with weed. Good luck to the up and coming looking to make a name serving up. Since I stopped having to spend all my time look for and trying to buy, my life has been popo free, and boring, oh well. If the cops want you gone, see ya. In todays America, big brother rules. Its their rules, so you dont even know what they are. And then there are (usally) older people out in cyber space that push (usally) younger people into this war as cannon fodder, and the standard they carry is the NORML flag. The bottom line is trust no one when it comes to the things presented on thse pages, if you went to school with someone and have known them for a long while, well I would take a chance, and hope that they dont get to wigged out. If you keep it in the real with what you do know then most of the time you dont have to worry about someone being a LEO. If the popos want you bad enough they will target your wife, parents, girlfriend, etc. What can you do then? Popos can lie with the best of them and convince even your own twin brother that your an evil person that should be locked up. Dont waste valuable time looking for LEO's. Cause in the end it dont matter.

Only way i know of to tell a Leo is reputation, people know people in the streets here anyway, if you from outta town i dont know nothing... but there are always the snitchs and rats becoming oh so populaur so i guess your never really safe in the long run, less people that know, less chance you got of bieng busted.
