i got three kids of my own and 1 child that i claim as my own.
life with children is very very different than life with no kids.
for all you parents do you enjoy being mom and dad or do you look at it like something you got stuck with.some babies were meant to be born and some are accidents.
there are parents who are good and bad what do you consider yourself
Well, I had 6 kids but i got really hungry and ate them all. I guess i'm a bad parent.
I will hopefully be a father in the future. I would like it to be with someone I could share the rest of my life with, and still be happy in years to come, but that situation is becoming more scarce by the day with many children having step-mum's and dad's. Well I still have my real parents which I'm very glad about but I know of a lot of people with step parents, which seems to be becoming the norm nowadays.

from a mans point of view having a daughter made me realize that all my life ive been an asshole.
having to care for a lil baby girl is far different from raising a boy.

the pictures were taken by a female writer who was writing about life in the los.
they are from a book and to be honest i am in one of the photos.
i never even knew about this till one of my homies girls seen us and showed us.i was looking for pictures of east la to show and i luckily came across them i was so excited cuz im a lil famous.
also that kid from american me that at the end says fuck it homes the primera lives that kid lives down the street.and he aint a kid no more.
also oscar de la hoya came to give a speech about coming from the hood and he got milk cartons thrown at him

I have one beautiful daughter. I was a single parent (my choice her father turned into an ass thanks to meth). There were bad times, scary times, and plenty of good times. Having her turned out to be the best thing that ever could have happened in my life at that time. Forced me to grow up and get my act together.:) :dance: :stoned:
i have two children. a boy and a girl. my son will be 4 in two months. my daughter is 2. i was married for a few years. now i'm 23 and while i DO regret wasting so much time with the mother of my children (it turned out really bad), i NEVER regret my children. like friendowl said, they make you think about things alot more. you have to grow up really fast, so you can be there to take care of them, and make sure nothing happens to them. i love my kids to death, and i don't know what i'd do if they weren't here.

I have three boys - now grown. My wife was a great mother - I was an indifferent father. I started way too young - felt overwhelmed and trapped. But despite all that they turned out great and we are close. There is a lot luck in bringing up kids. No one has the manual. There is no garauntee that you and your kids will be compatible. A lot of things are out of your control and you just have to hope for the best - which doesnt always happen
I have a sister who has cut off all contact with her family - none of us knows why. I dont much care but it tears my parents up no end. I would feel the same.
One thing about being a man and having kids. Kids make you vulnerable emotionally and physically in a way that one isnt used to. Men like to feel that they can take care of themselves and suddenly there is this little child and every time he get sick or gets hurt it wounds your heart. It never goes away - you are always going to be attached to them and share their joy and pain. It's great but its hard to be a tough guy :)
Absolutely true. I think that we, as men, also have a tendency to want to fix things. We can't fix everything though, and suddenly feel totally helpless when our little one is crying in the middle of the night because she's sick and we can't "fix" her.:(Quote:

By the way, your appreciation for your lil girl and the rest of your children is real touching dude, really. I haven't been blessed with wee ones yet. But you know what they say. Out of the most f*cked up situations come the best fathers.

got a 17 and 15 year old. been with my wife since 82'. probly longer than the lifespan of 1/2 this board. didnt have kids till my 30's. up till then i was a ball of fire looking for a place to burn. before i even got married i went and got the aids test. there was no-way i would bring a kid into this world with a death sentence. after shooting dope and screwing whores i had to know i was ok.. as it was it didnt stop me from getting Hep C 20yrs later(interferon for 1 1/2 yrs..really tough). if i had'nt stopped drinking and drugging before i got married i would probly be dead today..having kids validates your biological existance.

I had a baby girl that passed away....would've been 4 this past Nov., no other kids yet! Hoping for at least another daughter and a son, someday....
