Do different strains of shroom spores produce a vastly different potentcy/flavor? If so, does anyone want to reccomend a favorite strain because it is delicious or it will make you trip a little harder? One more question; Can you put different strains in the same terranium with out much contamination? Thanks a bunch.:thumbsup:

They all taste pretty bad, but yeah, theres hundreds of strains of psilocybin containing mushrooms, and they all have different characteristics, and flavors. but they all in general taste like crap, some more than others. All strains have differeny potencies, i find cubensis are great :)
golden teacher will always be a southeastern favorite, great fun
cyanscens have the greatest concentration of psycoblin and psycoline though, that's what u want

they are two different species if contaminated by one another ther might be some serious toxicity problems
What kind of toxicity problems? If they are both the same genus, shouldn't they be all right in the same grow space? I don't understand how that could spoil the yeilds.
no its ok to mix cubensis strains with other cubensis strains or cyancens strains w/cyanscens or even mexicana's w/mexicana's but don't go mixing them with one another-- then you asking for problems. I'm not saying it would destroy your yeild, my worry pertains more to your yeild destroying you
I was just thinking about having several different p. cubensis strains in same terranium, so there shouldn't be any of the aforementioned toxicity issues, right?

I read on erowid that Cyanescens Astoria Ossip is stronger than Cubensis, but I didn't know where to order it plus Cubensis should yield more. So, it should all balance out. Has anyone ever tried Cyanescens and did they seem more potent?
When shrooms were legal in the U.K, i bought some "Hawaiin blue devils" of the net direct from holland. i dont know the scientific name, but they were small slimey blue shrooms that were so fuckin visual, we were actually warned when we bought em even tho they knew we had experience. That trip i was eatin both hawaiins and mexi's at the same time, some serious trip...anyone else had different varietys at the same time?

Does anyone know where to order cyanescens? Why not grow both types of mushrooms? (I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a mycophile nerd, last time I went hiking, I collected a bunch and identified them later...Someone once said on these forums "it's a spore world, we're just living in it", well put)
