its great...i cant EAT and EAT and fucking EAT all the food i want and i dont gain any weight :), i only weigh 60kg too
muscle weighs more than fat. so i must be all muscle aye :smokin:
I'm thin and in America as well.
No, it doesn't. You need to clarify what you mean when you say this because in the context you're using it in it's a myth.Quote:

You don't eat enough. Use www.fitday.com and track your calories, you aren't eating as much as you think. You could eat 7 meals a day and not eat enough calories to gain weight. It has nothing to do with how many times you eat, it's what you eat. I use to think I ate a lot when I weighed 135lbs, now I've put on over 60lbs, mostly muscle.Quote:

If you want to lose weight you have to burn off morecalories than you consume, if you wanna gain weight it aint all that simple!
Granted muscle weighs 3 times more than fat, like someone has said. Weight is very hard to gain for some people, as is losing weight for some people!
Exactley.......yup the only thing that puts weight on me is beerQuote:

You need to calculate your bodies bmr, and eat about 22-25 calories per lb you weigh to gain weight.Quote:

No offense, but I'm not exactly sure why people would ask you if you use steroids weighing 182lbs @ 6'2. That's considered skinny to most people I know. Of course if you're a swimmer then bulking might not be in your best interests:)
No, I quit swimming a few years back.. but never lost my muscle mass and tone, and don't. That's what I meant to say lol. :)Quote:

Yea im labeled alot as anorexic or a heroin addict, my parents constantly tell me i look unhealthy, gaunt and lots of things, oh well im happy being me.
But how come the title of this was changed by a mod? It seemed fair since there was a fatness thread for americans
Nothing wrong with being skinny. I just couldn't stand it. I was always looking at bodybuilding magazines and liked the weight room where my mom worked when I was a kid. It just took me a while to do something about it.
muscle does weight more than fat.Quote:

There's a illustration to better describe it.
I've allways been skinny, in high school I was freakishly skinny. I tried to gain weight, tried eating more, I tried working out and eating protien shakes, but nothing I did would make me gain weight. I use to look at my wrists and just see skin and bone almost it made me sick. I had low self esteem cause I thought I was a freak because I was so skinny, but after high school I came to just accept it, I have a high metabolisim and there is nothing I can do about it! I got a belly now, but I'm still fairly skinny lol but I acept who I am, Me.
You should get tested for Celiac Disease. If you cannot do this, try a gluten free diet. I thought that I had a "high-metabolism" but it was actually malabsorbtion due to celiac. One in a hundred people have it, but the vast majority, over 97%, are undiagnosed (in the United States). It is EXTREMLY important to address this, in cases such as yours.Quote:

You werent' eating enough. Nobody's body denies the principals of thermodynamics. If you eat enough you WILL gain weight, it's a fact. If you weren't counting your calories and you didn't know your bodies bmr you would have no clue as to how much you were eating and how much you actually need to gain weight.Quote:
