Well the good news is....
you can save her..
I beleive you have some sort of nutrient LOCK..
She needs to be transplanted ASAP....
preferebly into a 3-5 gallon pot with a 80% soil , 20% perlite mix...
Then water her with 6.8 ph water...
What kind of light are you using... Looks like HPS... correct?
you have not over FED.. in the general sense... cause you burnis not from the tips... but you are having a nutrient problem...
try to remove as much soil as possible when you transplant... but do not disturb the roots..
I know that will be difficult...

Can I use soil-less mix?
yes, just add 1-2 tbsp of dolimitic lime per gallon of mix. most soilless stuff is peat based and thats way to acidic without it. i use promix bx myself
I had added Epson salt for about a week before this started. Won't promix also just add Mg?

promix is a peat based soiless mix it doesn't contain any nutes. and garden knowm, if you try to use promix without adding lime your plants aren't gonna live very long. the ph of promix can be below 5.0!!! i've tested it a few times in the past.
epsom salt adds Mg not promix.
can you get any pics without the hps?
Also, I have a feeling I might do some damage if I transplant at this stage. Kind of don't have a green thumb! Is there anything else I can do?

Your plant is strong... It can handle a transplant... just be COOL when you do it.. Patient and calm... pretend like you are an expert...

Oh I am using a soiless mix.
So I transplanted one yesterday and flushed another. The one I transplanted isn't looking so hot though. Does it take a while to adjust after the shock? I checked my pH at it was right about 7 for both plants and the water.
Thats a ph prob my freind. Do you allow them to dry out in between watering at the bottom of the containers? if not you get different ph at different zones of the soil which can cause problems. The best way to water is with a garden sprayer. Keep the surface roots damp and the bottoms of the pots dryish.

I have grown thousands of plants in promix and they love it. Never had any problems. Never use lime either myself. I soak rock wool in water to wash it out when I use it also.

So when I went to check on my plants last night I noticed that now there are some purple stems. Is that a Phosphorous deficiency? And if so what should I do?

The purple stem I saw was on the bottom. The top looks real nice. I will post pics later tonight.

I recommend you call Hanna they sell a meter that is better then any you will find in a grow shop for a third of the price. Its the Hanna 9044 and they can direct you to your local distributer who will mail it to you for 120 dollars. It tests ph temp ppm and microseimens. Top notch continuos monitorer. I called up Hanna a few months ago to see if they could make one with a remote control and I was told about this new meter they are putting out which can be checked via telephone. Its 540 usd and the phone attachment is an extra twenty. Sure a bit pricey but tell me thats not cool. The people at Hanna are very nice and will help you with your needs.

I would use tap water at a 7 ph and add fertilizer till it hits 5.9 ph. Orangic baby formula is a good temp ph up as when organic nutes get broken down the ph raises in most cases unless manufactured at a crazy lab.

It looks like a combination of things. The yellowing tells me it's a nitrogen deficiency, while those slightly purplish/gray dead spots tell me phosphorus, too. The purpling in the main stalk and fan leaf stems is normal [ I've got a couple plants with the same appearance as far as that goes ]. Is the soil dry enough to begin watering again since the flushing? Need to feed them something if that medium's depleted.
Phosphorus can be stored by the plant so you need to up the rate of transperation to save her. Up the heat and put a fan on her. Deficiencies of the phosphorus is still a lock up due to the way plants store it I would figure. Even after flushing 10 times the amount water to soil nutes will remain so I would hold off with cranking the numbers. I would feed her under 100ppm of added ions at a constant. If you got a multivapor it will fair better then under a HPS. The MH has more blue light which produces cloroplasts and gives a nice green color. To much yellow and you will be breaking down the cloroplasts to fast for the plant to stablize itself. If a leaf is more then 75% damaged cut it off. Damaged part of the leaf can be trimmed off to. To much cutting will cause stress which will be counter productive aswell.

I possible give her like a 10-1-6 for NPK. Alaska grow is organic and a 5-1-1 that and some maxi crop would be great for her. Like 80ppm alaska and 20ppm maxicrop. Drop of thrive alive green per gallon. That is what I would give her. The bottom of the pot will need to be no more then damp really to help adjust the ph of the ions in the soil up. I would look into getting a garden sprayer to water if you dont have one and give her just enough watering everyday.:thumbsup:

You could give her baby organic soy formula with iron. The calcium should help stablize the ph. It has folic acid to which helps with stress and break down lock ups. I dont usuall recommend humnic acid due to its half life measured in centuries but it is good to add with lockups. Like 15ppm is all you need. Dont get the one with lipids as that promote water retention and you need transperation.:p

I have a fan on them so how do I up the trasperation? I am really new to this so I didn't really understand what you were saying. Should I use a different bulb or should I feed her something?

Transperation is increased with low humidity, air flow over the stoma (disperses water, kind of like us peeing but more holes), heat and silver excites electrons which helps as well. Magnitite ore was first seen used in Roman aquaducts as lower polarity promotes health of animals and plants alike. As far as the bulb goes a Metal Halide or Multivapor would be best, (same thing pretty much). Do you have a meter?
No I don't have a meter.
Hanna makes a great meter that you will not find in a grow shop usually. It is a constant monitor so no batteries. Measures temp, ppm, microsiemens, ph, and is only 119.95. Call Hanna for the local distributor. The model is the Hanna 9044 and it is the only meter I trust.
