I've been informed about a new drug (for ADHD...but for maybe for other reasons ;) ) called Strattera. I haven't taken any, but I may be prescribed it in the future. After being on Ritalin for years (man it makes you feel good) and taking some Adderall (which also makes you feel good) I'm a little skepitcal about Strattera. It doesn't fall under the category as an amphetamine or a stimulant, but all I want to know is....DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD :confused:
Im on Strattera and it really doesnt do all that much. doesnt even really help the ADD symptoms

I took 2 yesterday morning, i didn't pay attention to what mg they were. But anyway, I ended up getting sick as hell. I read the medication can be taken with or without food also. I really didn't like the drug at all anyway though.

Strattera is entirely useless
Strattera increases the flow of norepinephrine also known as adrenaline in the brain and does not act on the dopamene produces or receptors as Adderal and Ritalin do. Ritalin blocks the reuptake in the same manner as cocaine and Adderall produces a greater overall flow of dopamene. I have never taken strattera myself but have read numerous reports on it. From what I can decipher Strattera when it works is effective but only works in a very small number of people while others have a racing heart, drastic negative changes to mood and in some cases psychotic eppisodes. I would not reccomend using this drug recreationally or even as prescribed. I myself am prescribed to adderall XR and have done countless hours of research simply out of curiosity and even now am hesistent to take Adderall. Hope this is of some use. :)

I've been using and abusing ritalin for awhile....the doctor tried prescribing me the strattera.......its shit.......there are no stimulant or addictive traits to it. Don't even bother.
