Sensi made me, I used to just use "i" but she convinced me to use "I" lol.
I like the think I have spot on grammar on here, as well as msn (apart from I still use "i" on there haha.)
:D
See response below - I accidently double-posted, or maybe there's a glitch in cannabis.com's system! :dance:Quote:

It would be a good idea to keep a dictionary and thesaurus on hand, also.
Oh yeah, and don't double-post when you answer questions, lol!

GRAMMAR? this is no place for GRAMMAR!.......RAMMARG???? wtf~
I'm a retired English teacher...so you can imagine the obsessive compulsive behavior I experience when reading the various posts! Monk (if you have ever watched the TV series) would go absolutely bonkers on this board!! I too have this strong desire to correct "grammar stuff." lol However, I am slowly becoming accustomed to seeing atrocious grammar and am learning to deal with it! Lastly, I have to agree with Highjinx, this is a place to just be yourself. Proper grammar should be reserved for the classroom.Quote:

I'm getting used to some people who don't use proper grammer. I feel like a Nazi when they disobey me. "Uz, la shlat proopa grameza!" But, I'm used to it now.
I bet folk here think my grammar is awful! I'm constantly using abbreviations and missing puntuation marks. Not sure why I do, laziness I guess!
Peace
Buddy
If you really want to improve your grammer, I think the best way is to read. Read books, read the newspaper, read whatever you can get your hands on. You won't realize it but you will soon start to absorb the language skills of better writers. Then, when writing something yourself, read what you have written and think about whether or not you could have said it better.
You did mention, however, that it is only on cannabis.com that you seem to have this problem. Could it simply be that you are too baked to use good grammer? :stoned: If that's the case, don't worry about it. Just remember, anyone who points out that you have bad grammer probably isn't as high as you are.
"Gilligan"? No, it's MAYNAAAAAARD! That's Bob Denver in his first (and best) TV role, as Maynard G. Krebs, on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, which aired in the early 1960's. He played the beatnik sidekick to the girl-crazy Gillis (Dwayne Hickman).Quote:

Excellent answer! Monk would be going crazy! I too had a hard time with the grammar when I first logged on. I agree with Highjinx also. And I keep a dictionary at hand too.:) :stoned:Quote:

I guess some people just got too baked in school :stoned: :D

I have loved to spell and know that I am top class at spelling and grammar and stuff at school... I find spelling so easy, I mean you just write the word as you say it, and just don't be a dumbass :DQuote:
