For a while I have been enjoying acid, but my supply has run out, and i no longer have a dealer. A friend calls me up and tells me he can get really good shrooms for 30 an 8th. Are shrooms as good as acid (please explain if better or worse) and is this a good price for good shrooms. Thanks.
I've found out that it's a lot easier to have a bad trip on shrooms versus acid. If you have the right environment when dropping acid, you're fine. With shrooms, you never know. Acid is like a 10X dose of shrooms personally. Once you drop the 'cid, you never go back.
But then if acid is so much more powerful, how is it easier to have a bad trip on shrooms, kinda confusing.

It's kinda hard to explain, I was just never a fan of eating shit. Literally. Acid is a bit cleaner and pure compared to shrooms, and with shrooms you never know if youre gonna eat a good batch or not. It's all up in the air. And acid is not too powerful unless you take so many doses.
Acid is more fun and easier to endure then shrooms, is that maybe what you mean? A Mushroom trip is "up in the air" because it's easily more mentally unstable then an Acid trip. Although heavy doses of course increase that chance of a bad trip. But with Acid it's more like an assault on the senses, especially visually, and it's overwhelming; while with Mushrooms it's more like alot of mental sewage comes to the surface and you're cognitive functions cease as you get caught in a thought loop and possibly curl up into a ball. Acid may be more dangerous cause in a bad trip, in my opinion, you'll more likely become more defensive and scared so you may leave and wonder around aimlessly or something and get lost. On shrooms you'll probably go through some mental enema which leaves you feeling shitty curled up but in the end come out feeling refreshed... from my experience anyway, but of course we've all heard the stories of people never recovering from a bad trip.
I've never tried any kind of special Cacti... what comparisons can one make between Mescaline and the other two? Anyone?

I prefer acid ... shroom and acid are not the same things thats it! like pot and shrooms... not the same thing
I prefer shrooms because of the mental clensing effect. Acid to me seems to be a much more superficial trip, where as shrooms are typically an enlightening experience. It all depends on what you're looking for in your trip.

i have had 1 bad trip on acid and a few that were not very pleasant, with shrooms i almost always have a good trip, but i do not push the envolope to far. I have gotten a little nervous on shrooms but nothing like acid.
Shrooms are the best.

Never tried acid, but ive never had a bad trip on shrooms. Some people who dont have a very strong mind, may have bad trips, as they get confused when they experience halucinations, and sometimes think they are real, so they get freaked out.
Me on the otherhand, i can tell reality from fantasy very well.

Acid is all the positives of shrooms 10 fold. It's a better way to trip personally. Have fun eating all that shit before hand. Just a personal preference though.
Acid gives me a very superficial trip with yeah alot of fun but not alot of insight into anything. I mean, it's good for fun but not for tripping, in my opinion.
I find that you get get drawn into a trip alot more on shrooms compared to acid, but it depends what variety of mushroom it is. mexicans make me feel slightly nausious and make people faces shaky and all sharp and angular, generally a quite confusing and uneasy trip. Indian shrooms are hands down the best! me and a friend bought some of the net, so fuckin visual...everything was flowing like liquid, i have experienced curtains literally "breathing" when they are pulsating perfectly in time with each other, and the whole room has turned into a box made up of thick pink and black lines all moving. also ive seen weird "silvery hues" on objects and seen weird tribal symbols on walls (i could have drawn them) that are actually there but not. i like to eat the shrooms straight up instead of makin tea's, i find it hits u quicker and is the best way 2 do it. i find acid to be more intense at points, but the trip is not as real as with shrooms. acid kinda feels artificial. lets not forget that l.s.d is extracted from the ergot mushroom. I did 1 and a half tabs from a violet minds sheet, 200 mics each. that was pretty good for my first acid trip. was having a piss in a small bathroom, the walls were all coming in and moving (thought i was about 2 sink through the ground). Anyone wanna chat about the differences between diff shrooms they've tried?
Went to an illegal rave yesterday night, got back this mornin, my mate did a quarter gram of mdma and 2 drops of liquid 2cb, is there a rave scene in usa/canada (i'm in the U.K). Its so easy to get hold of acid, 2cb, 2ci, etc in powder or liquid form. Shrooms can be so much more deeper and darker and more of a sinister crazy trip. i agree with what someone said earlier, that bad trips can be the best trips when you look back on it. PEACE,

My trips arent random or confusing, everything that is happenin is in sync with some kind of pattern, everything is in-sync. all the psychedelic visuals i get are perfect abstract patterns and shapes. i hate it when people who havent tripped b4 think that as soon as u take shrooms or cid, everything is just gonna start melting and goin completely nuts, u have 2 take a lot more for that 2 happen
Either way, it all comes down to how your mind works and your general attitude and emotional composure. I've never really been partial to either. I'd take acid over shrooms because in my experience, shrooms tend to make me think too much and I get depressed and confused.
Acid usually is a funny experience because I can usually tell I'm just tripping and it's fun to laugh at it and think to myself that none of this is real and I'm the only person in the world that can see,hear,feel,taste,smell it. I love being able to taste or smell colors, feel sounds, hear pictures and see tastes and vice versa however you want.
On both I can always remember that I'm just tripping out, but shrooms make my mind work overtime and seem to make life seem pointless and trivial while acid is an entertainment for the senses for me.
ive only shroomed once, and they were poor quality so i didnt really like it that much. but acid is so fucking amazing.
