The 1932 original, Freaks is definitely one of the trippiest movies I've ever watched. (This is the Freaks you vaguely remember hearing something about in eighth grade, the one whose cast is composed almost entirely of real people with physical deformities).

Yeah i read the book after i watched the movie a few times, and just like you i didn't understand it the first time. Still to this day when i happen to watch it i always see somthing new, it's an amazing movie but i think the book is better.Quote:
