My first grow, 2 white widow girls are flowering

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share with you the two girls I keep in my closet. I began the grow right before I went on vacation for 30 days. I used an automatic dripper and 400w metal halide on a timer. Needless to say, I came home to a beautiful present :)

They vegged for 7.5 weeks, and have been flowering for a week now. The stretched plant is 27 inches and the shorter plant is 16 inches. Both have the same number of budding growths (21).

Please give ANY tips or suggestions to improve yield or potency during flowering. General comments are also welcome, of course. I leak some CO2 every few hours, and I've switched to a high phosphorus fertilizer.

How high is your P?

possum - nah not from my parents, from kids who hang out in my apt.

buk - its only 15-30-15, this miracle grow shit i picked up before i read alot. think i should buy one with higher or is this sufficient?

thats too much nitogen for the flowers.
will taste planty

Are they stinking up your house really bad? I want to grow a strain with a low odor signature so I don't get busted. I was thinking about lowryder.

Surfin - My room stinks up pretty bad, but you can't smell it outside my room..... yet...

can anyone estimate a total yield, dry weight? I know there are many variables, but this is my first grow and I have no idea what to expect. Am I looking at 2 eighths or 2 ounces or what?

I hope you get a good yield.. You know that you have to share with all the people on cannabis.com.. It says so when you register.. Just in VERY tiny print!:)

harvested my white widows a couple weeks ago. out of 3 plants I got 5 1/2 ounces of good bud and another ounce of trim and smaller less potent buds with a 250 hps. Very nice smoke! about to go and hav a joint of it actually. Good luck, hope all goes well. I guarantee the smoke will be worth the effort

I veged for 8 weeks

Hey I just changed my growroom setup. I moved the plants to the center of the closet right in front of the door. I added some extra lights i had sittin around, just for the hell of it. Some incadescent, some halogen, figured it could only help. Temps are lower with the new setup, so the lights dont hurt.

Theyre now 33 and 17 inches, and 10 days into flowering. Im starting ferts next watering, about 2 days. I still have to pick it up, I'll probably use Peter's 10-50-10.

I've given up using yiest for CO2 because I didn't want to sacrifice ventilation. Temps were 95+ with isolation. Now they're 80-85.
