Aderol Q's and advice? (kinda long sorry)

Not sure if this belongs in the lounge or not but this is where it is. Anyway ive always had feelings that ive had some sort of ADD/ADHD gor the past few years maybe since 8th or 9th grade im now a senior. So ive always wondered what would happen if i took Aderol so i got the chance today and did because im currently haveing some trouble with my grades and school work and i need to get my ass i high gear if i want to graduate in june!

So i figured well wtf? why not ill find out if i should be taking it or not because my buddy who does take them told me what should happen if theyll help me and if not itll act like speed he said and ill get hyper. So first off i wasnt sure how much to take so i took 2 pills to be sure something would happen. And after about prob 20-30 minutes i started feeling then kicking in and not in the hyper way but the way theyre supposed to work. I start actually kind of i wouldnt say i was liking school but i didnt have that thought in the back of my mind "I cant wait to get the fuck outta here".

So i goto my classes and i know theyre working mint because i felt good kinda like i was high on life you could say and i had no problems concentrateing and getting into what we were doing. Like for example this is when i deff know these things are doing something right. Last 2 periods had a doubble block of english (about 1 1/2hrs) and i pretty much despise english but i was actually getting into it we're reading MacBeth by shakespear and i got the urge to read so i even asked for a part!

This is deff not how i would act normally usually english really litteraly puts me to sleep im always getting yelled at to pick up my head or pay attention and such. Im such a spaceshot in school constantly spaceing out daydreaming not being able to pay attention for the life of me i would try but it just never worked nomatter how much i told myself "Ok Aaron just pay attention get your grades up".

I never really was very good at school because ive been like that since i can remember and the work just got harder each year and can really tell in my grades. I also notice after i took this i spoke my mind more freely and was a noticeable amount more social as in i would just want to talk to people like even people i wouldnt normally talk to, its also easier to fuck with people i just seems like i always have something to say now.

After school i went to my buddies house cause we take his car to school and i park mine at his house. So we get his house and i immediately get the urge to work on his new mini chopper that he got (Don't run) so i start working on for like an hour and was so focused on what i was doing. I only stopped working on it cause he was freezeing his balls of and my fingers were numb so i was like ill work on it later (which i did). Then we went in his house and sat down and started talking for like 1hr staright just about random shit and i just wanted to keep talking.

Sorry this was so long but i just had to kind of get that out, its just how amazed i am on how a lil pill can make such a big differance for me. Now my question is what is the usual average dosage i took 2 30mg timereleased Aderols and seemed to work great and am still feeling the effects (mainly why this post is so long i usually do short post but right now its just kinda flowing from my head out my fingers) so is that a big dosage or is that normal?

Other questions i have is if that is alot what should i try? I want to experament with how much Aderol will help me so im going to take it for a week so i got 7 aderol XR 20mg pills from my other friend (just ones he put away cause he didnt feel like taking them) should i take one 20 or 2? Also is this a good i dea to continue doing or may there be some helth risks exspecially if i happened to take to much (the 2 30mg's). And the one im concerned about most is if i take these is there a risk of dependance or addiction to them and if so do you know of like a % statistic or anything else that might be help full.

And dont tell me to goto a doctor for a script cause ive told my mother but she said she wont get them for me because she doesnt like the idea of putting sythetic chemicals in your body. (Luckily weed is all 100% natural so shes A.O.K with weed). If these really do help me im gunna tell her i did this experament and talk to my teachers to see how much of a differance it actually did make cause my ELA teach already notice today she said who are you and what have you done with Aaron (i just told here i ate a good breakfast) lol but this has deff helped me pull a 180 in my classes.

So mainly the #1 question i have is would it be a wise idea to continue or just drop the idea and forget i ever took aderal (yes i noticed i splet aderal wrong a shit load of times but i spelt the other ones like this so fuck it).

Im just so amazed because before this i had almost just let school overwhelm me and just kept falling behind and almost gave up and accepting that i just wont graduate. But now i see this as maybe a second chance to do it right and help me pull a 180 so i can get my shit done. At this point im just confused to shit and have to straighten out my though and figure out what im doing. ( Thank you so much guys for listening/reading what ever you wanna call it).

also i have a few more questions are other things ok to take while on adderall like weed and salvia. Weed im fine with caus ei know plenty of people who take meds and smoke. Salvia on the other hand im not sure since its a hallucinagin and will fuck with my head any body know anything on this one?

adderall works fine iwth other drugs. my friends take it with acid too to stay up longer, i did adderall pretty much everytime i did ecstasy, and smoking and adderall are just fine.

if your mom is down to earth, tell her you tried it and it worked. but other than that, id suggest taking it well i dunno its hard to say man. I say you should take it for school and school only, then when you turn 18 get a prescription, dont abuse it. It sounds like you really have ADD and this drug really may help you.

but it also sounds to me like you might have taken a high dose, find out what the MG of those are and see if you can buy a lesser one. cause my friend is ADHD as fuck and he doesnt really get like, i gotta work on something when hes on adderal, hes more like well normal, not that hes anything less when hes hyper, but you know what i mean

The main #1 reason for me taking adderall is for school and i may benefit out side of school because i noticed how much more motivated i was to do things i would normally be like yea i should do that or that really needs to get done and then just be like ehh ill get around to it.

heh. that was like reading an autobiography, no fucking joke. im a senior now, and i just started aderol this year. all through high school its not that i couldnt pay attention, i just didnt care or want to. so my mom suggested i try some pills, and i figured what the hell, itd be an easy way to do better in school (it was either pills or i "work on my study skills").

so i got tested, and i barely have add, i have probably as much add as any teenager would if they got tested. before aderol, they tried a bunch of different meds, and i either didnt take them or lied about their effects so that they would switch me around to something i liked (thus, aderol)

i take 1 30mg xr in the morning, and 1 10mg midday. i have all of the same feelings you do, which is because i purposely lied to my doctor so that he would give me a stronger prescription than i needed. yeah, i get talkative, yeah, even taking chemistry notes is fun, yeah, i am wittier, and it keeps me awake. you didnt mention this, but it also suppresses your appetite. its great for going on a diet, because eating becomes more of a responsability than a craving, and you dont care if all your eating is lettuce.

concerns: anyone can take aderol, its not going to fuck you up too bad. be careful of how much you take and when you take it, because like you said it keeps you awake. i gave my friend 3 xrs in the morning one day, and she couldnt sleep at all that night, she kept cleaning her room, and then the next day she had to stay home sick because she was exhausted. so stay off the xrs after 3pm.

also, its very likely that eventually, the great high that you get from it will start to become more and more temporary. yes, i get that feeling when i take it, but its only great for a couple hours afterwards, and then youll start to slowely fall into a slump for the rest of the day. yes, youll be focused, but you wont want to talk to anyone, and you wont want to smile or have any fun.

the last concern you should have is studdering. children who are started on aderol at a young age often develop horrible studdering problems. (which i think is fucked up. my cousin is 8 and hes on it and he can barely fucking talk because of studdering. id rather have him bouncing off the walls then just a blob that cant complete a sentence.) but ive slowely started to notice this myself. youll say something in your head, and then when you try to say it aloud youll trip all over your words. this happens 2-3 times a day for me.

as for addiction, i have no problem with it. i dont even take it on weekends/vacations. but i used to give my friend a pill every day, and she got hooked as hell on them after just 2 weeks. so i finally cut her off, and she said that its alot harder in school w/o it once youve been on it, because you have to try harder.

anyway, i know this post is ridiculously long, but i figured since yours was then youd probly read it.

i want to be perscrbed to adderol, that shit is my favorite pharm, i stay up 48 hours straight on it playinh halo on xbox live, you get to the point where when you take the head set off you still hear voices, im dead serious sleep deprivation on speed is crazy

Man u would be better off just going and seeing a doctor about ADD and then he will prescribe u some pills and the exact dosage because technically what your doing is illegal and there is a way for it not to be so why not do it?

i have been unmotivated for quite a while, and my mom gets pretty upset/dissappointed when she see's me getting anything else besides a's.. I am exactly how you were, just waiting for each period to end and I just don't feel like doing anything school related. sounds like it's done you guys nothing but good.. I have no idea how I would go about bringing this up with my mom.. hmmm, any ideas? :)

you sound jaded, are you a senior/junior, we called it seniorits, nooone wants to do shit those years, i half assed everything, stick it out man highschool is easy stuff.

but if you really want addero its really easy to get prescribed to, just go in, and say im having trouble studying, paying attention, its hurting my grades, im afraid i wont be able to succeed in life blah blah blah

yeah, but not only because of school, and im a sophomore

its not as easy as just walking into the doctors office and telling him you need aderol. first you have to get tested, and then your psychiatrist (yes, you have to have a psychiatrist that you have to see basically every month when you start.. 300$+ per visit) will probably put you on 500 different pills with mixtures of stuff like aderol and riddlin before they finally put you on straight a.

yeh, getting a prescription is a bitch. and expensive as hell.

adderal is stupid, and so are your parents if they put you on it. It's amphetamines mate, well, 4 different usually consisting of half mental stimulants and half physical simulants... long term use of that shit can cause palipitations, psychotic episodes, scary ass hallucinations, strokes, brain damage etc. Sheesh... yeah, our kids aren't doing good in school, so, let's put them on speed! It will make them more aware and able to learn better! Ha, isn't that some Hitler ass logic

about the sleep thing yea im experianceing that its 2:03am and dont really want to goto sleep but i know i have to so i guess ill try after this. I think its because i took 60mg which seems to me now like alot when the average perscritpion i read on a site is never higher than 30mg so ithink im just gunna stick to 20mg in the morn for like 1-2weeks and see how it has effected me and then i will stop and see how much it differs from i guess you could call it my (sober self).

I didn't have to get tested when I started. I was 23 at the time and in law school. All I said to my GP was that I was having a hard time concentrating in class and that one of my professors asked if I had been diagnosed with ADD. He prescribed Strattera (a non-amphetamine) at first but it didn't work. So I went to see a psychiatrist and he pretty much allowed me to self-diagnose using a numerical range designed to see how much ADD was impacting my behavior. I exaggerated to get to the place I needed to be to be prescribed a stimulant, and asked for Adderall by name since my friend sold it to me in college and law school and it worked wonders if I needed to stay up all night for a test or paper. Now I'm on 40 mg XR in the morning and I feel so much more productive. The only downsides are lack of erection and the tendency to smoke WAY too much to battle the high from the Adderall. Feel free to ask em any more questions if you have them.

Yeah that is a lot of work to go through to get a script but with insurance covering most if not all of it I see no real harm in it.

Health risks and problems associated with amphetamine use:



Agitation, Inability to Concentrate: In some users, increasing with dose, amphetamine causes agitation, restlessness, and inability to concentrate or focus.

Frequency: uncommon, increasing with dose. Certainty: clear causation.



Cardiovascular Stress: Increased heart rate and blood pressure. Tachycardia (fast heart) and palpitations are common at high doses.

Frequency: very common. Certainty: clear causation.



Heart Attack & Hypertensive Crisis: With higher doses and for vulnerable individuals, Cardiovascular Stress can precipitate severe hypertensive crises and Heart Attacks.

Neurotoxicity (Methamphetamine): At high doses, methamphetamine causes damage to dopamine and serotonin neurons in the brain [Seiden 1976, Thompson 2004]. This effect is well documented with methamphetamine in mice and now largely confirmed in humans; behavioral/clinical effects of this damage is not well documented in humans [Hanson 2004].

Rhabdomyolysis and Kidney Damage: Breakdown of muscle fibers usually caused by overheating and overstimulation. High-dose use can result in rhabdomyolysis, causing large amounts of proteins to be released into the blood. Urine becomes dark as the rhabdomyolysis increases and the kidneys can suffer mild to severe damage. [Chan 1994, Lan 1998].

Dangerous to combine with other stimulants: Amphetamines used with MDMA appear to cause damage to the dopamine neurons in the brain [Reneman 2002]. Amphetamines combined with other stimulants can substantially increase the risk of dangerous hyperthermia (overheating), rhabdomyolysis (breakdown of muscles), and other related health problems.

I was reasearching this shit all last night BTW when i finally went to sleep it was 4:30 and i woke at 5:15 so that sucked but o well and i took a 20 toady. but after being on it for 2 days seeing/feeling the effects of it although it is a wonderful little pill that works so weel it seems to me the bad outwieghs the good.

For one i dont know if i keep takeing it if the dosage is right.

3. This shit makes my appatite go down to ZERO i never had a big appatite as it was now i have none. Since yesterday all i have had is a sandwich, small piece of chicken for dinner, 1 bite of a b/e/c from dunkin dounuts, and only maybe a hand full of french fries.Now my common sense tells me that is deff not very heathy for me. Its wierd its like my stomache wants food but i just cant eat it.

4. i enjoy sleeping regular human hours

im leaning toward not continueing with this i just dont like what i read about amphetamines.

read my other threadd mate, I know people like you who were prescribed and have now CEASED medication without their parents permission. It is evil stuff, I think everyone who has tried it tends to learn that with time

uggh yes the sleeping, i remember on many occasions dozing off at 7 only to wake up two hours later. It is only going to get shittier from here man trust me
