Scarred of Weed/Drugs?

Here is my situation.

First time I tried weed, I had no idea what I was doing (knew how to inhale though.) I smoked a whole gram of chronic (joint) to myself and it fucking blew my mind. I got really scarred and ended up having a bad time. Since then I've been smoking every day and enjoying it, although I've never been as stoned as the first few times I smoked. The only other things I've tried were alcohol and cocaine once which wasn't that intense of an experience.

I've turned down E. before, but have been curious about shrooms and acid. I am not scarred of getting physically hurt, but I'm afraid of the experience beeing too intense and I'll have a panic attack or something. I'm not saying I want to start dropping acid every day, but I want to try some more psychadellics just to 'dip my feet in the water'.

Any advice or experienced people out there who can relate? :rasta:

My first shroom experience was on around 2.5 grams. That's what I'd recommend for you, it shouldn't run you too much and the experience itself is more or less controllable.

I recommend taking an 1/8th of shrooms. That's what I did my first time and it was to the full effect.

1/8 is a bit much for a first timer; for many it will be fine (more than fine, in fact), but a bad trip on 1/8 could be hard to break out of for one new to the psychedelic state. 2-2.5g is a good starting dose.

My advice on shrooms and acid: only take them if/when you are absolutely sure you want to, AND you have 6 (shrooms) or 12 (acid) hours of time during which you do not have to get anything done, will not have to interact with anyone you would have to keep your trip a secret from and are in a positive mental state. Also, try not to expect particular things (visuals, ego-annihilation, or any of the other possible elements of a trip); getting frustrated when the desired effect does not happen can hurt the quality of your trip. Be open-minded, be prepared to explore parts of yourself you didn't even know existed, expect nothing and embrace everything... And you'll be in for the ride of your life. Nothing compares to the experience, and no amount of reading on the matter can impart an accurate notion of what it will be like, particularly since it's so wonderfully varied. The only thing that's probably safe to say is that it will be nothing like you imagined.

My advice for the first time you use acid is to do it with some friends who have done it before. Don't do it with anyone that is going to mess with you while you are trippin. Make sure you have nothing to do for 8 hours.

The first time I tried it I did it by myself I didn't know what to expect. I got fuct up! I locked myself in my room and ended up fetal position rocking back and forth for 4 hours saying "I'm never going to do this again!" lol. When it FINALLY wore off I convinced myself to try it again. I did, and since then I've never had a bad experience. I think you can really learn a lot about yourself.

I don't recommend dropping cid all the time... it's more of a once or twice a month thing.

Totally stay away from people that will freak you out when you have to talk to them...same with people that will fuck with you. I was tripping shrooms once and sorta did have a a panic attack. There was so much going on, i felt sick, and just kinda fell over and laid on the ground. We where just chillin in the backyard, but my friends where still sorta new to me, (just moved) and they were freaking out, (first timers) and it was stressing me out so bad, I passed out. Very weird and uncomfortable experience, but since then have had good trips on shrooms.


As for acid, all the rules are the same, you'll just need more time to come down. My first acid experience was a my first rave, and i had 2 hits of blue gel....blew my fuckin mind dude! Totally changed my life....this was actually before shrooms btw.

ahh jsmoke that exact same thing happend to me almost, right after i took a bite of icecream i got this insane feeling in my stomach and everything became blurred(tales of power written by carlos castaneda explains it very well) and my brother said my eyes rolled back into my head. i then proceeded to stumble backwards and hit my head on the corner of the wall, i was "aware" of the pain but it didnt hurt. after i hit my head(i was falling when i hit it) i just lay on the ground crumpled up into a ball totally aware yet passed out and my brother started freaking me out which got me pissed off at him. after he attempted to help me up i got mad and just laid on the couch. all this happend though in a 15 second - 2 minute period and was the only bad part of my trip, the rest of the time i thoughorly(sp?) enjoyed myself. i am 95% sure all that happend cuz i got to hot(pajama pants under reg pants and longsleeved pajama shirt under my winter coat, while inside the house). i ate an 1/8th that time(it was my first time)

sorry for hijacking thread but i would definately recomend trying shrooms and only do them if you are 100% sure you want to, and be carefull your mind is very fragile and (decievable?) while you are tripping

ha if u didnt think cocaine was intense u need to do it again i didnt get the full effect till my 3rd time and it was heaven

you HAVE to at least TRY psychedellics

i recomment starting with 2 grams of mushrooms just for starting.

then try acid down the road if you want.

i highly advise you to go on a hike or something in nature while you're tripping.. because for some reason, whenever im on acid. i just NEED to go outside away from civilization

hahahah, i was the biggest nerd before. my friends where first to catch on to weed and i was the onyl one who didnâ??t do it, and sadlyâ?¦I always judged them for it (but i didnt care that much, in fact i was kind of interested)

so one night they convinced me (took a long fucking time) and now i smoke every night. i have to say though, it was a rough time in my new months of smoking weed because i didnt know shit about shit. testing out different hiding places, smoke places, looking for dealers. now im fully setteld in, got a dealer, smoke place, perfect stash hiding place, everything. and i now have no fear of it.

its taken me a year to get to this stage and the only thing that sucks is the tolerance.

i feel ya man tolerance blows, it takes me so much to get high and i used to just feel it so hard after my first big rip from a bong but now it takes me like 3 rips to feel lightheaded a bit... sucks.


P.S. i only have a 6.5 inch bong ATM so that's why it takes that many rips :)
