hey me and my band have a myspace with a few raw recordings of a few songs, id love it for anyone here to give me an honest oppinion on what they think

and keep in mind were 17 and have been playing only a little over 3 weeks togeather
i have a few friends that are in bands and were all around your age and i would say your pretty good for only 3 weeks but your lead singer sounds like a crappier version of a lot of artists and needs a bit of work on his flow, sorry if thats you but your guitar and drums sound pretty good in unison
as long as your having fun dont worry about what you sound like skill comes with practice
nah i play guitar and yea our singers got alotta work to do we just dont know anyone who can sing to well....its not easy to find a great singer

Your drummer sounds like hes at about a fifth graders skill level no offense but his beats are sooo simple its sad. guitar is very repetative and the bass is also to simple. Sounds like a failed attempt at creating poser punk. Keep Rockin though you will eventually stumble across some style.
yeah i was gunna say that but at the end of "i could have sworn" he switches it up a bit and shows some skill, its not that bad for there first couple songsQuote:

What i mean by you will find your style is that it takes a while before you find a sound that is good you just gotta mess around with different stuff and eventually you will find somthing that works for everyone

yeah, the drums are a bit repetitive, the lead singer's voice is annoying, but i like the guitar. i like the lyric rythm in 'i could have sworn' though.

seriously i think it sucks. first of all, your drummer doesnt know how to play at alli can easily do what he did during the whole song with no prob coz he knows only one thing, and its his snare.
second, not even a solo or anything. pretty repetitive too. sounds like some pop commercial neo punk (sorry i hate this kind of music too, i love real old punk..)
the singer is seriously bad too. well i say good luck man i take in consideration the fact that you guys hve just been together since 2-3 weeks. well anyway good luck
