does anyone else here feel there should be an age limit of some sort to post here in certain forums.... ??? or something to that extent
its a little hard to take advice from 16 year olds seriously , especially on topics such as growing cannabis, which the only experience they have is from reading posts from other potential 16yr olds
i guess thats why i use OG,.. this place should get a karma system to show some credibility for users so we know who to take seriously
Hey, Powder Puff's 17 and you haven't seen his plants, they're fucking beautiful... so no, you should judge people's "respectibility" by speaking to them first.
I know many 16 year olds that are much more mature than many 30 year olds...
not to mention that karma system was nothing more than a popularity contest and of little value to serious growers. it's up to the reader to weed out the crap.
recently we have taken up the long overlooked task of keeping the litter out of threads asking serious questions, mostly done by our turbo-posters looking to boost their post count (which i would like to see removed...date of membership should be enough, imnsho). those who continue to butt into threads they have no business being in and posting off-topic nonsense will join their posts if they persist. but there will always be some that get through and that's where we need your help...please ignore them. we'll remove them as we find them and if they're really annoying please feel free to post in the feedback room or email one of us if it goes ignored. once the newer members catch up on what's happening and what's coming up i'm sure they'll understand better. it's all in ron's sticky's at the top of each room...
zandor is currently away on a road trip and usually watches over the grow section but i'll try to fill in while he's away and do what i can. he'll be back next week...
Some of the newbie 12 years old really piss me off just by saying that they havent done weed and dont know what it is. SOunds like bullshit.
It's just growing faster here than they can keep up and there is a mod missing to boot. It's a good thing that will work out in the end. Just give them time to make adjustments.

I'm all for 18 or older only. But there would be absolutely no way to enforce it so its kind of dumb to even talk about it.
One thing that can be enforced and I will be voting for is a new purposed law to move the driving age to 18. Have you seen the number of traffic fatalities caused by 16 and 17 year olds!??!? Its just shocking and there is no way they should be allowed to drive at that age even though I was. I will defiantly be voting to move the driving age in my state to 18!!
All those adults who have never been 16 (ie- young and dumb), please raise your hands. Will all those who knew from day one, how to grow cannabis to its full potential, please raise their hands? Will all those who have never exagerated their knowledge or bragged, please raise their hands. I thought so. I'm 58. I work with kids. Put up with them, they are us not that many years ago. They will grow up- we did.

To judge somebody by age is completely ludicrous and absurd. Age is only a number, although knowledge is obtained through time, it is also obtained through experience, which many of these young folks here have. It seems there is a lot of problems with everybody from OverGrow coming here and not being satisfied with this site.
