Hi, I have these tablets with 30mg dihydrocodeine tartrate contained in each pill. I'm thinking that these will do some crazy shit no? I don't know if I will try them but I will see :).
The only thing is what is the the "dihydro" and the "tartrate"? Is this just some more shit to make it more powerful or what?
How many should I take if I decide to take them?
I know that dihydrocodeine is around twice as potent as codeine. I had to take codeine one time and one time i took about 5 and was pretty high. i think they each had 10 mg. So, id say take 2 of the tabs if you want it to be really intense but only 1 if you dont know what its like.
Also erowid reccommends a starting dosage of 30-60mg of codeine which would be 15-30 mg of ur stuff, and that if you feel comfortable you cna take more. so 1 or 2 is plenty.

Now, I don't know much about organic chem., but just because it says "di" in front of it, does not mean that it is twice as strong. It could just be a slightly different molecule with "dihydro" (two hydrogens on whatever molecule codone is). Be careful what you're taking.

I tried one out and I got some effects, like being spaced out (but nothing too serious), I have read that a good recreational dose of codeine is 200mg, so that would make 100mg the equivalent dose of dihydrocodeine. I'll try 60mg in a few days so I don't get addicted (or kill myself).
codeine is converted to morphine in the brain and 120 mg of codeine is equal to taking 10 mg of morphine. so if you took 60mg of your stuff that would be 10 mg of morphine.
now i dunno how much morphine one would take but if you do then u mite be able to use that info
Actually one correction there, dihydrocodeine is changed into dihydromorphine, which is two times stronger than morphine.
So 60mg dihydrocodeine = 5mg dihydromorphine.
When on hand, I usualy talk around 100mg to 120mg codiene. It leave me feeling tingly and feeling totally chill for about 5-7 hours.
Just done 60mg dihydrocodeine (120mg codeine equivalent), i'm still pretty high at the moment, but maybe next time I do 120mg dihydrocodeine (240mg codeine equivalent).
