The Convincing

I need some serious help. I want to smoke weed at home without having to hide it yet no matter what I say it's still against God ccording to my mom. I told her all the facts about how it isnt that harmful(i eaven suggested that I would eat it so that I wouldnt get the bad effects) and after I convince her that it wouldn't hurt me she gave it a thought and said that she figures it would still be against God because it alters your mind. What I now believe is that it is no longer about God but her being stubborn and to worried about her social status when everone finds out her son is a pothead(I also told her that it could be our secret). She says if I do it I'll get kicked out of the house and I have nowhere else to live right now. If anyone could give me some advice i'd be grateful or quote a verse(s) from the bible that would proove her wrong.

it may be a better idea to respect your moms rules, if she said shes going to kick you out of the house, i think she means business.

If she believes that its against God...And God is the creator of all living things humans, animals, Trees...plants get where im going? By her logic it wouldn't be against God, because he made it.

I personally believe that the holy Herb should NOT be used for recreational purposes, and that is against what the Lord has put this beloved Herb upon the face of our planet for. my mom just found out i smoke but i am 23 and she cant really stop me lol but she came to my apt and saw my gnome grown poster and a stem on the table and she asked me how long id been smoking. i just showed her my stash and my pipe and everything and she was cool with it

Don't try and prove her wrong. It'z her house. Be a man and respect her decisions...If you wanna smoke bud, then handle it outside.

Free speech is good and all, but its a waste of time, because what ppl don't know don't hurt em, and sumtimes they just don't want to know, I know, I know its a shitter that ppl are stubborn, arrogant and can dictate ure actions purely by opinion and status, but thats nature man, and it don't matter whether or not weed should be embraced or shunned, fact is its illegal and most ppl think along the lines of 'illegal=bad=not good'. you could av been smoking for years without trouble, its only when ure mom or the law find out it becomes a problem, so my only advice to you is don't get caught, good luck.

shes bluffing, every friend of mine that got kicked out of there house was threatened with getting kicked out like 5 times before there family actually packed there shit up and left it in the driveway. just smoke it every once in awhile when theres no way she can find out

I got caught recently my mom threatened to kick me out. All that means is she can't catch you. Smoke alot more discretly. I smoke daily and I haven't got caught again, although it's only been 1 month. Most parents can't tell if you're high around them unless you smell really bad or you geek-out.

just don't smoke at home. my dad smokes everyday and he knows, i smoke his stuff sometimes, but my mom is a christain. i grew up in the church. sorry to tell ya it says plain as day "stay sober" because these are dangerous times. i feel like telling god to stay sober. well the best advice i can give ya is don't do at home. or wait till youre 18. i'll be 18 in a couple months, there's nothing she can do anyway. :D

If you go to college and live in the dorms, you can smoke all the time.

listien man u need to tell your mom that it is fucking sad that she would use religion or god to get u not to smoke weed which was put on this earth by him, but my grandmother is the same way she has never taken a drink of alcohol or smoked anything or done anything to alter her mind. she is a strong southern babtist which is respectable to go through life without ever doing anything which is almost impossible in this day and age

Well if she says no and you do it and then yes it is against God. Commandment 4 honor thy father and thy mother. My parents wouldnt approve of me doing it but they dont know. And im not religous.
