I have a accoustic guitar, i did have a shed load of stickers on it but i decided to take them all off!! but how do i do it? if i use white spirit will that damage my guitar in anyway, and if so what else could/should i use?

just tear them all off anyway possible. then rubbing alcohol and an SOS pad will get the gook off. Shouldnt harm your guitar in the least, if your careful
sweat on it. sweat dissolves glue.

Goo Gone is the safest and most effective glue removal
Leave them on - adds to the character and history of the guitar!!

i really hope its not a good guitar if its covered in stickers. that would be such a shame.
your local hardware/utility shop should be able to provide you with glue remover, if you don't wanna break a sweat :cool:Quote:

Cooking/vegetable oil works to get the glue from stickers off :p
