DXM Questions

Okay so last night I took 300mg robitussin gel caps. The experience was alright, a little strange though because I fell asleep before the effects kicked in, and woke up when it was peaking.

Anyways, I have two bottles of robitussin that have about 425mg each. I have a few questions about it:

1. Ive heard that you need to take a break between dxm trips (around 2 weeks?) but, I really want to dxm again tonight... So would it be safe?

2. Are there any major differences in the effects between the syrup and gel caps? For example, Do the effects kick in quicker?

3. Im going to buy an 1/8 of kb tonight, would it be alright to smoke a bowl of that after drinking the syrup?

Now I know these questions may have already been answered and I can probably find them through more research, but It would be more helpful to be directly informed by other experienced drug users who can further expand meh knowledge.

I've taken it three times in a week with no noticable effects but it is always better to stay on the safe side. I think it would be bad for your live if you use it alot. Waiting atleast a week would be wise.
I like the gel caps jst because I don't have to taste the syrup but it takes longer than the cough syrup to kick in.
Smoking is fine with DXM but it makes it cooler if you wait until the effects kick in before you smoke.

So it would be alright if I took it again tonight, but dont do back to back dxm often? Thanks, people reply quick on these forums.... kinda crazy.

I was fine three nights in a row. You'll probably be fine. Just be careful not to overdo it.

LOl, u'll be fine, if ur lucky, ull still have some of the prior dxm in your system still, and it will be reactivated when u trip again.
I've gone on 2 month long binges on DXM, so dont worry. i used to do it everyday! I limit myself to one trip a month these days, and that time has come !! (TONIGHT)

Yeah youd be fine but It has been known to cause brain damage with chronic use so its just a safe precaution to do it once a month or less.

I dont think theres much different between gelcaps and syrup, the gelcaps have syrupy stuf in them and they dissolve almost right away in your belly. And they dont taste like ur downing diarheah.

Defenitly smoke, but do it after the effects kick in. Its fucking insane.

It's not brain damage, it's DXM psychosis. Still bad, but mental instead of physical. After being seperated from the drug for a while, the psychosis will start to go away on it's own.

And about the gelcaps taking longer to kick in...

If you like coffee, drink a cup or two as you're downing the caps. This is what makes most OTC migraine medicines different from regular headache medicine. They contain caffeine in addition to the normal active ingredient. Caffeine has the effect of causing your digestive system to process and draw the DXM (or any chemical really) into your blood at a greatly increased rate.

Careful, though... too much too quickly and you've got a good chance of hurlin'

im being 100% honest here. one of these guys i know who LOVES drugs, tripped on dxm every night for nearly 3 months.

hes fine, but that cant be safe.

id recommend a few day break

same with LSD, i did it 2 days ago, and will wait 2 weeks before i take it again.

I drank the bottle last night, then put in Undertow and Anema by Tool. I had a great time ladies and gentlemen. I wasnt able to get the 1/8 of kb after all, Wont be getting that untill later tonight... I guess Ill smoke up untill next saturday when I experiment with DXM some more:thumbsup:

It's really fun when you get into the upper plateaus espeacally the 4th.

No DXM does cause brain damage it's already been looked into.. look it up. It's a brain damage that makes you have some sort of speech impairment and DXM supposedly causes tears in your brain as well but these dont usually occur untill DXM becomes a habit.
