I've been smokin out of a stupid vaporizer made from a lightbulb, because I can't burn incense and have no other way of hiding the smell. That's all fine and dandy, but the high I get seems different. It's more a headache. I'm assuming this is bad.... Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone here had any knowledge of this :confused:

yeah its the vape. lightbulbs=BAD NEWS. i dont care what anyone else says. the bulb has chems in it that wen heated oxidize and can have serious adverse effects.
Yeah, you're right. Thats not a high. Thats a headache. If you're not getting high with it, stop smoking out of a lightbulb. There are probably tons of nasty chemicals no one wants to be smoking. About the smell issue, either save up for a real vap. or make brownies.
I actually made a lightbulb vaporizer first and it was HORRIBLE, but I thought it was just me. I took just 2 hits and couldn't take it anymore, it felt awful on my lungs and gave me a cough for 2 days. but once I got an actual, real store-bought vaporizer it's been wonderfull. so I guess something really is up with bulbs.

okay, yea, well my lightbulb vaporizer did hurt my lungs at first, and it did taste weird at first. i'm assuming that was the chemicals. but now i've used it enough that all those bad chemicals are pretty much gone, and now when i use it it's great. i also get a "head high" from it. but not a headache like you say. its more like, if i drop a pencil, it feels like my head is falling with the pencil. it's pretty cool.
try not holding your lighter so close to the lightbulb if your getting headaches from it
The trick is to heat the weed untill a slight stream of steam starts comeing from it, if it starts smoking then it's too hot.
Also make sure you wash it out before you use it. Still i prefer a good old jay :smokin:

i never seemed to get as much high for the weight then if it was in a bong.. like i could vape a gram, and after a few hits i'd have to change th e bud again (i never put a full gram in it at a time) but if i was to smoke a gram in my bong i'd get like 3-4x more out of it... the high from a vape is pretty cool tho (only had light bulb one) before i ever used it, i put salt in it, and shook it around really good, then after wards cleaned with water and let it dry over night, never got a head ache from it, the high was short lived tho, also took me awhile to get the technique right, so i wasn't burning the weed, but actually vaping it. tastes considerbally better than any conventional methods that involve actually burning it tho.
Yeah I do think that it's the light bulb I've never heard of it and i'm a bit puzzled as to how you smoke it.I suggest actually going and getting an actual vaporizer i know a girlfriend of mine got one for $85 dollars and she didn't mind it at first because she could actually pull it with out having a coughing attack but she saids that she doesn't actually like the high and the actual taste but she could breath whislt smokin so it depends on the person and what kind of hit they like.:thumbsup: :smokin:
The way that weve always hid the smoke was to take a toilet paper tube and stuff it full of dryer sheets, then when you exhale the smoke blow through the tube. It will come out like smoke that smells like the dryer sheets. It works best with a pipe or something that dosent smolder like a joint.
my bulb vaporizer worked,.. as in it got me high. but just a body buzz, my mind was totally normal - which i think is the way theyre supposed to work...
but id rather just smoke a joint or something

lightbulb vapes suck i used one for about a week then i hit my bong again and relized how shitty it really worked, dont compare a lightbulb vape to a storebought vapourizer theres no comparison. lightbulbs are for meth heads not potheads
Someone please tell me how you make a lightbulb vap... i know the pot goes in it and you heat it up but how the hell do you get the end out of the bulb without smashing it? im confused.
u cut the meatle at the end then knock out all the stuff on the inside then clean it all out real good then put a bottle cap on the top punch 2 holes in it and put a tube of somesort in each.
is the lightbulob your using clear? i made one and i get a good high off it every time i used a 100 watt clear lightbulb
