I wish I had pictures to show this but I dont. We have a 400 MH about 22 inches away from the plants in a DWC ( Bubbler ) system which 1/2 the amount of GH certified nuets going in it with enough oxygen to provide a small town in TX. :D So anyway, one of the plants is starting to develop some yellow on the leaves. Tips and such.. What could be causing this? Too close light? Nuets? =\
Oh, we're about 2 and a half weeks into vegetation.
They are starting to stank :D
check the PH,your using enough nutrients,and you can keep a 400WT a little closer,12-15" above the top of the plants,with a fan blowing between them....bonbon
We have that exact setup actually.
The fan in between the plants and the light.
The ph stays at 5.5 all the time pretty much.
I moved the light down some.
You might be over ferting. It causes a chemical burn. It happened to me. In fact it killed 2 of my babies. Just burned the leaves right off. I had nothing but stems and shriveled leaves.
your plant is showing it's limit(1/8 tip burn is safe)just use plain water to top off, keep the ph where it's at,and change the solution no less than every 14 days,they should gradually use the nutes up over that period of time,how often do you replace the solution?....bonbonQuote:

In early stages of growth, sometimes the plants will do this. Don't worry, and don't change anything unless the condition worsens. My plants always do this in the begining, b/c for some reason the first sets of leave don't stick around for too long, and if they do, they need to be pruned eventually anyway. Just keep everything steady and balanced, make sure you prune when the time is right, and stop worrying about it.
He's using hydroponics.
