I was wondering if smoking weed has any effect on your weight? Most of my friends who have been smoking on a daily basis for a few years are thin as rails but I just started smoking regularly a couple months ago and I've been gaining weight. Has anyone noticed or experienced this?
To some degree. I used to munch the fuck out all the time, and I noticed that I was getting a little buddah belly. So I cut back on the munchies, and now it's all good. Just exercise son.
alot of people say that smoking on a regular basis (a couple times a week) that you lose weight. i doubt it though, munchies are too hardcore too ignore.
I heard it speeds up your metabolism so when you smoke you DO lose weight. it sure as hell made me skinnier
I honestly dont think that's true unless it's proven somewhere. I say this because I myself didn't change at all physically, and if I did, I gained a little weight from all those pretzels I would eat...
I've lost 80lbs now. It's pretty remarkable. The urge to over-eat is gone completely. Although I have seen a change in my eating habits as well. Generally I don't eat as much sugar anymore and drink a lot of water but I don't count anything. I just don't pig out. I get the munchies but when I do I try not to eat something overly processed and sugary.
Thats how I do it Lemon...it works for the most part. I hardly ever get those insane urges to eat any and all in sight. I gave up soda a while ago, but now that I did, I'm glad because it's sooo gross...too much sugar and nasty ass carbonation..Quote:

yea the luckey one like me and some others in the thread , seem to lost weight after they smoke, usely everytime i smoke the next day after my buzz is gone i weigh my self and on a , AVE weight lost a day would be o most 1.5lbs to one time 4lbs
then it's like a nartural steroid to me with out the side effects, and i alwasy wanting to get stonger ect ect LoL
I lost like 20lbs since I started smoking, but I don't really get the munchies like most people do. I just feel like my stomach is infinite in size once I do eat but don't get massive hunger strikes or anything.
i get the munchies like a bitch (must be becase i am a big guy) but i remember this one day... i ate
hole bag or oreo cookies
hole bag a grapes
hafe of full size pizza
2 small mircowave pizza's
2 1/2 bag of chips
some candy
and some icecream
and some how lose 3 lbs the very next day (must be becase i had to shit really bad)
i eat until i throw up sometimes. my munchies are hardcore.

The Trick to losing weight When smoking(and ive lost over 20 pounds doing this) is smoke right before u goto bed and sleep off ur munchies and then u wake up all hungry in the morning which is good cause u burn off your breakfest
