Thank god, no more disposable cameras :D
I've been in Paris for the past week, so there are a few from there, some of the weed I just got tonight (a present from my uncle :)), my bedroom and birthday cake! Oh, and a portrait of me some guy done in Paris.
I tried taking some real close up ones of the bud but the flash seems to be far too bright and they dont turn out right though its a 5 milionl megapixel cam........

It was OK, fecking freezing - and I mean, even colder than Scotland, it must have been about -4 the whole time, the food was SHITE - these Parisians aren't into their food at all - just mineral water & espressos :( but it was a nice place to wander about in :)Quote:

Yeah I went to Eurodisney but it started pissing down, that horrible icy sleety rain! It's ok, but the Florida one is 10 times better.
There was a trippy show called Honey I Shrunk the Audience where you wear 3D specs and things come at you - in Florida, it was Alfred Hitchcocks 'The Birds' you should have seen everyone - squealing and trying to shoo away invisible crows :D
And I got a photo taken with my beloved hookah-smoking caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland, but I've left the disc in work :( Ill post em some other time.
And Wesley - I swear, it was colder than Scotland - my hands were numb even under my gloves!

Do you know specifically or atleast roughly where you where in Paris?
Obviously you travelled about a bit but its just I'm yet to encounter bad food there!
My sister lives in Paris (I'm in England) so I get to have cheap weekends there visiting her (Never would have imagined that a few years ago, while living together we where always at each others throats, now we are like good friends and share any secrets in complete confidence)
Anyway,even at the seediest, corner of the street panini stalls I still havn't had bad tasting food or food poisening there (and never had real food poisening, let alone in Paris, more likely to happen here!)
I think you were just in the wrong area, there are some nice (but nothing special)restaurants in the area across the big bridge from Notre dam, (where my sister lived before moving in with her boyfriend) And theres huge variety from french,greek,mexican,indian,indonesian or just plain greasy food to choose from, so many that a blind person can't help but see them!
and For the (vast majority of) brits:
The equivalents of kebabs over there are sandwiche grec (Greek sandwhiches) which is a basically a kebab in french bread and beats the testicle and head surprise you encounter with the Donners you find in England! Absolutely Laaaarvley!! hehe
And also an un-related france+weed story: My parents saw some french Military police at a train station point 8 MAchine guns at a (around)16 year old boy, who had been smoking a joint, and chucked it as soon as he saw 1 of them come towards him, after two minutes there where about 12 of them there, 8 of them holding there guns at him!!
Absolutely ridiculous, and he was far less a threat than the tramps with their stolen bottles of Vodka, less than 100 metres away.
That reminds me of the time when I stole a handbag back off a thief and gave it back to the owner at a train station in Paris, but thats another story for anotehr time!
ANyway, I hope you had a nice time in general despite the food, and really enjoyed your birthday!

Yeah I stayed in Magdeleine, right next to Place de la Concorde. Everywhere we went it was little cafes serving either chips, steak or salad. Maybe I didnt look hard enough, but I didnt enjoy one meal there! Or maybe it was because I didnt get to have a joint before eating it :)
Hmmm, not getting much use out of your camera, I see. Maybe I'll post a request SensiASD thread for more pictures.

I think you just had bad luck, THe french are famous for their food for a reason, but then again theyre also known for the women having hairy armpits and that has always prooved untrue to me so far.
