a question i thought of while high

so last night i got to thinking... i mean everyone who smokes weed knows that it's not bad, and definitely not any worse than alcohol. remember when we were younger and they told us it was the "gateway drug" and we'd probably end up in rehab or dead if we ever used it? so my question is, do the cops and people who say marijuana is so bad actually believe all the stuff they're saying? no one can deny that stoners are like the happiest and most peaceful people around... so do anti-drug people just spout this stuff or do they actually think it's that bad? is this making sense??

Most don't believe it when they say it, They are scared of what others will say. If all would just speak up they would see that there would not be but a few that still was against it. But that is just my thoughts.

Weed isn't even a drug, As for it being a gateway drug it's BS, I mean fair enough some people may take other drugs as well as weed but it's no way a gateway drug, to be honest though weed was the first thing apart from alcohol and cigarettes that I ever experimented with when I was I youngster, Then when I reached my late teens I had tried coke(it was ok) and ecstay(MDMA) which is amazing, Shrooms (decent trip, got them for free aswell ), but in no way had weed led to me using anything else, it's just fucked up shit that the government feed you when your young and try and brainwash you, people should learn the truth about weed.

know what you mean man! people have been using cannabis for like 10.000 years and suddenly the last 75 years it's a drug, marihuana was used as a tool to get rid of mexican labour in US at it's time. then people didn't know any better but today we know what it does and what it DOESN'T to. why ban a flower that makes you feel calm and nice and doesn't do you more harm then a cup of coffie??! my girlfriend smokes, i smoke, my cat, boss, coworkers, local police officer, dad, and like 6/10 of the people i know :rasta: .we all smoke damnit!!"#!#$".. it's a green plant that grows out of the dirt and if you let it dry and smoke it you might feel a little better.. but nooooo.

Weed is such a gateway drug but it also depends on the personality

Just think about it... if Herb did'nt exist (painful, I know) there would be something else to take its place that the media would label as a 'gateway drug'. It's bollocks. Herb is only a gateway drug if you are interested in other drugs and want to try them. With or without Herb, people would still try other drugs.
Sure, I'm interested in other drugs and have even told my parents that, but I would never try any others apart from magic mushrooms (done already), and I only took mushrooms after researching them thorougly and was in the right mindset. I would never take any other drugs apart from salvia, because I only want to try drugs that the shamans used long ago to look at my life from a different perspective, and attemp to live a more harmonious life.

Bizzle, thats entirely true. I had a friend (well, I fucking hate his guts now and if I ever see him I WILL kick the shit out of him until he's comatose and has to be placed on the ward where my mum works - the Intensive Care Unit, stuck on a ventilator). Please, let me explain my hatred for this wretched piece of work.
His name is James. At first, he seemed OK - he would smoke me out, sell me decent sized bags and was a laugh. Then he begun to abuse the fact that I let him come round and smoke, by bringing round other people I didnt even know. He wouldnt even call and ask if it was OK to bring other peeps, which really pissed me off. He would also smoke (cigs) in my room without even asking. Weed - yes. Tobacco - I prefer people to ask, as it stinks my room out. I showed him my kick-ass BB gun once (no, not a shite springer or battery job - a proper gas blowback, Tokyo Mauri Biohazard Beretta with a GB-Tech silencer and metal barrel). When we were about to go out so he could get an O offa his dealer, he asked if he could take the pistol to show his dealer. I said no, as taking it out is a criminal offence and you can get a £5,000 fine and a good few years in prison - let alone the consequences of having weed on you aswell. Being an avid shooter and wanting an FAC when I'm older so I can shoot the big fuckoff guns, I don't really want that on my record. So before we go out, he goes to the loo, and we leave. Halfway down the FUCKING STREET, he lifts up his shirt and says 'look what I got!'. Lo and behold, I see my beauty sitting in his waistline. That fucked me off like you wouldnt believe.
Anyways, a few weeks later I was looking to sell it and said he could have it for an ounce. He said yeah, telling me he would give me the O in a week when he picks up. I hand over said pistol.
Weeks go by, and excuse is followed by excuse. This continues for several months. Also, my friend Ben has had money go missing from his house - but only when James has been round. He also owns him about £30, and Sophie (an acquaintance) about £50, I think. Oh, not to mention a few CD's and jumpers that he borrowed.
Anyway, I get pissed off at the fact that he hasnt given me my pistol back, so I ring him and say 'give me the fucking pistol back or I just let the police handle the matter'. A torrent of verbal abuse follows, but the thing that made me really explode was 'you aint getting the f-in pistol back you mother-f'er, you f-in c*nt, dont you dare f-in threaten me with the f-in police you f-in c*nt'. Needless to say, I immediately hung up and phoned the police about it. He obviously tried to ring back on the house phone, and that was engaged due to me having rung the police, so he rings my mobile. I simply put the house phone on loudspeaker, and answer the mobile so James can hear everything thats going on. Sadly, they said that they couldnt do anything about it because I handed it over to him voluntarily (I said that he hadnt paid me and is refusing to return the pistol; I werent gonna say I traded it for Herb!). Oh, but the best bit is coming up...
Later that evening, I go down to his house to confront him about it face to face, as I knew his parents would be in aswell. Oh, and they hate everything to do with guns and drugs. James wasnt in, so I talked to his parents about it. They were nice and friendly about it, offered me a brew and rung his mobile about it. After about 5 minutes of shouting down the phone, he eventually gave up where it was - in the shed. His mum hands me it back, apologises for the situation and says that if I'm ever in the area then I'm more than welcome to come in for a chat and a brew. The best part is still to come...
As I'm about to leave, she says to herself 'but he hasnt even got a job, so where would he get the money from? It went a little like this...
'He hasnt even got a job, where the hell does he get the money from?'
'Oh, dont you know, he deals weed'.
So I'm invited to help her search his room for evidence, and up turns just over an ounce of dank. Mrs. James is fuming at this, and she also finds some cocaine - I wasnt sure how much cos I dont do it and have never seen a gram, but it was a standard eighth baggie FULL of it. So, she phones him again and tells him not to bother coming home that night, or ever for that matter.
Ha! Should fucking teach the bastard!
Oh, and she let me keep the Herb for myself. Nice lady! :D

My step-father was a police officer in a city in upstate New York, that shall remain nameless (Amsterdam), in (I think) the 70's. He told me, nearly, the whole police force smoked Herb.

In Virginia, the police have said that the marijuana offenders are not the ones we should be looking at.

i truethfully disagree with the whole gate way thing...... just like the post befor me explans that it's a myth,

you been told this by countless people i am sure (I know i have) but yet nehtier me or "ALL" the friends i have around the world have ever tryed or ever thought of doing any hard drug then Marijuana.

the people that start crack or LSD or what ever.... uselly becase of there life stiyle(there like the emo kids with out the thing " you don't understand part") weed i fell has no effect on if they start up somthing...
Just a nother choice that has be be decied by the person, weed can't talk physically so it can't really make a person get on other drugs :thumbsup:
