Are any of you like me...?
I've found I prefer to smoke alone. I'm usually a funny guy when not high, very gregarious. When I'm high I'm silent and when somebody asks me a question it seems like such a bother to answer. I looove being alone with my thoughts and sensations when high, especially walking through the city at night.
Do any of you perceive differences in your high when you're alone, or w/ different kinds of people?
hmmm, I guess to some extent yes. The only real difference b/t the high me and the sober me would probably be the concentration factor. I tend to stare off into space when high sometimes. Other than that, I am normal me. I do like smoking alone for more than one reason, but right now, just to save money and not smoke up the 200 people that usually ask me. It's tough sometimes, like yesterday some chick and her 3 friends wanted to smoke, so I kindly smoked em up. That's different though..haha. god they were hOt.
i enjoy both. with high quality weed i like to smoke alone to enjoy the full effect of it. with med to low i just smoke it up with friends. it depends on what i'm doing i guess. like skating while high is awesome :rasta: but then there are those times when ya just wanna kick back & stare at wall .. let your mind wander through all its thoughts.

I find that when I smoke with friends, I'm forced to do stuff they wanna do. I have no freedom. When alone, I can do as I please, and this results in me having an infinitely better experience. It's fun to mess around and chill with friends but smoking alone is just as fun, if not better.
I usually prefer any experience alone, and smoking is no exception. Smoking with people is fun, too; I like a mix of both. I've rarely seen weed as strong or rare enough to need to plan around the use of it, so I've never really been in the position of deciding to smoke, then deciding whether to do it alone or with friends. When I've smoked with friends, it's typically been because either 1) I was with them and we decided to smoke, or 2) I was contacted by someone inviting me to a smoking session. When I've smoked alone, it's been because I had weed and felt like it.
i usually smoke alone, its alot better cuz no ones killing your buzz or being a fag. And you dont have to share the bowl.
But its always fun to smoke with some buds every once in a while
smoking alone is best.my friends think i dont smoke anymore.when i would get high with my homies we would just sit there and talk about shit we already did.now i like to get high and read books
i love to smoke alone because the only friend that i smoke with (only have a select few that smoke, the majority of my friends are semi-straightedge or just alcoholics) always wants to play madden 06 and that game is so gay because hes way too good at it and i stand no chance
so in conclusion i like smoking alone a LOT more, plus i have a bunch of friends on the computer who i play counter-strike with so if i ever get lonely i've got friends only a few clicks away. lol its pretty nice

dude you sound EXACTLY like me, I tend to get really quiet, and I prefer to be alone, a couple of close friends on rare occasions but besides that I usually only smoke alone all day

Anyway, being with people is fun too, but only if it's people you like and can have fun with. Most of the time, I just sit there quietly except laughing uncontrollably for a few minutes whenever someone does something stupid.
I couldn't agree with you more. I love smoking by myself, being alone with my thoughts, feelings, and music. It just seems kinda like a bother to smoke with other people, so I very rarely do it.
I do enjoy smoking with friends, I just find it even better smoking alone. Especially on a cold dark night.
i like smoking with my brother but other than that i dont really care for it all that much...
My favorite is to smoke alone but I also love being with my best friend. All the people I like enough to smoke with have their own bud so I never need to worry about using mine but I just prefer to be alone, relax, listen to music, read, basically whatever I would do alone normally.
One thing I've found is that some people can be total bitches while stoned and they just make me feel like shit and kill my buzz which is why I really will only smoke with my best friend.
The best thing to do alone is go out to a nice big field in the spring time and just smoke a couple bowls, watch the sky, listen to nature, then jump in the cold river after your burn out to wake yourself up...heaven.
That's definetly me right there! I only really smoke alone.
Most of the time I fill up the tub and put bubbles in there, light some incense, turn on trippy music and smoke in the bathtub. The water feels sooooo beautiful and I can just lay there and think and listen and read or whatnot. It's beautiful. Everyone should try it sometime!!!!

the majority of the time im smoking with friends but nothing beats a nice sesh by yourself and then doing what ever you feel like, especially when you got the whole house to your self and you can just sit on the couch nude with a joint in your hand watching the chapelle show and laughing yourself to death
i totally agree! when i first started smoking i only did with friends, cause i thought i'd be some sort of drug addict if i started smoking alone, but now i totally prefer to smoke alone. i'm so glad to find out other people feel the same way! :p i do like to smoke with friends still sometimes, but i find myself getting annoyed with them, especially if they get paranoid. i also tend to over analyze every bit of a conversation i have with someone which gets annoying too.

smoking alone is fantastic. i hate getting headaches from too many people being annoying.
I love being high when I'm by myself, or after I just smoked with some friends and I'm just bymyself. The only thing is I prefer to smoke with my friends because my piece has such a huge bowl pack and it takes me so damn long to smoke it by myself lol.
yeah man.....smoking alone is so much better..i mean if 1 person is with me or 2 thats ok i guess but if im with a big group i fucking hate that
actually i dont know... i mean i like smoking with large groups (if we have an ounce or something, or everyone is matching me) but i also like smoking with smaller 3-5 man groups.... but i also like smoking by myself... damn, just give me some pot and a piece and ill be happy, people are optional lol... unless they have dank of course then ill smoke with them

ive been smoking alone everyday for about 1 week now...and its great just to chill out, pump some music and drift away. ive only got about $25 worth left so im smokin the rest 2nite with a mate, should get about 10 cones each out of it :stoned:

and i have to agree, i mean chillin with my boys and smokin up is fun occasionally, but i dont like to talk alot when im high because whatever i say never comes out right, especially when im trying to be funny.
i think anyone that would much rather smoke with a group than alone has never smoked alone before.
I find that when you toke with others too much of your high mind is anchored to conversations, youre not really free to explore just how high you are, no matter how chill your bro is. For some reason every time I smoke in a group everyone else is antsy to know what everyone else that isn't there is doing, where else they want to go, and where to get hooked up it is SO boring when high.
When my German exchange student/ best buddy lived with me all last year we would toke together then go off and do what each of us wanted to do ourselves at my/our house. That was the best of both worlds
I'm glad the rest of you can appreciate toking alone and arn't afraid to say it :dance:

Smoking alone is awesome. I usually always smoke alone, you can make your stash last longer and I HATE getting baked and right to "my happy place" and having some stupid amateur give me a major buzzkill!! Smoking with friends is fun but it uses up a lot more of my weed. I agree, I like smoking alone for the simple advantage that you run your own show, you call the shots. You can watch whatever you please on the television, listen to whatever song you feel like jamming out to, etc etc .. I hate having to go do things I don't feel like doing while stoned. It makes the experience somewhat un-enjoyable, and un-enjoyable & marijuana are two words that don't belong together ! LOL!
The deep, philisophical conversations you get into with friends while having a session is very enjoyable and I love that very much. However, when someone goes off in a rant on a very sensitive subject/topic/opinion and it results in a buzzkill or heated conversation the question I'm left to ask myself.. why in the HELL didn't I just smoke all this to myself and spare myself of this un necessasry drama! lol! I'm a very mellow, somewhat of a loner, stoner. LOL that rhymed ;)
Every Sunday morning wake and bake,a couple of good films or a few hours on the x-box all on my lonesome, absolutely love it . Loner stoner lol:D excellent

i like being alone once and a while, but i prefer being with my friends if they are stoned too. i sometimes feel mad uncomfortable when i'm at a party where no1 else is stoned but me and like one other friend. but if majority of the ppl that i'm with are high, id rather be with people. alone can be nice sometimes too :thumbsup:

I guess they were right about one thing...smoking cannabis slightly removes you from society and makes you anti-social.
Sometimes when I'm high, I hate being alone...sometimes I like it. I think it might depend on the weather lol...nice sunny day...fuck being by myself, where's the fun in that.
