I would guess the "wilting" is from the transplanting shock. They'll be fine.

I don't think you can go from soil to hydro. Soil has bacteria that will infect the hydro system. I saw a post where Zandor explained it better. If they come back then you might have a chance. Change water alot to start with.

Thank's alot Turtle ,and Loc,But Zandor if your out there please shed some advice.

You should take cuttings from your best plants and grow those in the hydro or just use the hydro kit for flowering

big bud.... plants have different kinds of roots.... there are soil roots and there are hydro roots.. and there are even aeroponic roots... (these are not the official names)
anyway... plants that are switched from soil to hydro or vice versa are severly challenged because they don't have the proper roots to uptake water and nutrients..
if you have to switch again in the future,... try using a wilt spray on your plants... this will give them a fighting chance..
if you look at the roots closley, you will see what I am talking about..
i love you
and FYI... Big Bud.. and don't tell anybody this.....
Turtle is Zandor's mentaly retarded alter ego!!!
keep that between us.. ok
i love ou

Thank's Easy Roller .Should i chunk these plant's because they dont seem to be recovering
-

Like "Garden 'The Body' Knowm" state the plant has a root type ..or roots which have adjusted to a particular environment...so suddenly changing the environment and pH will shock a plant..PERHAPS to the point of no return!
How long have they been in there[ since xmas day?] Are they truly dead?.....They may bounce back but the shock may 'stunt' any future growth....I'd start again with clones and flower them...take clones and start them in rockwool and flower them under HPS 2-3 weeks after in the hydro...what type of system is it?

Thanks alot Knowm i posted befor i read your thread sorry. And just now seeing the big mistake i made

Big daddy I think they have told you what you need to know.
You may want to try to clone them now just in case.

They was onlly on 3rd node so i just ripped them out since the stem kinda snaped on both when it was wilting.Got to go get some more seeds tomorrow.think im gonna go with some Grapefruit or some cross of GrapeFruit.Any suggestion's on wich crosse's i should get that is higher in potency
-
For All Those Who Are Smart As A Fox
Cool thing about these plants... they can be near death.. with no hope of revival.. but like Zandor said...cloning is an option.. and "you" still have a pretty good shot at succesfully cloning them.. FREAKING AMAZING..
I LOVE LIFE....

I'd try to clone em just to save time....but Grape fruit can be flowereed after one week of germination and is a nice strain

I found that there is a product for fish tanks called "complete care", I have used it 3 times to treat my nutrient/water, although I dont know what bacteria was colonizing in it, it would cause a black film in the nutrient/water collectors and on the medium, it was slimy too and was suffocating the roots with this slime,I tried a mild bleach leech to control this but all it did was slow it down,"I was afraid to go very strong with the bleach" so i tried the complete care and it wiped it out totally. The reason for 3 treatments was because of 3 different systems that were affected with the black slime stuff, all were transplants from soil to hydro.

Yes!!! Atleast thats what the website says! [Rhino Seeds]
If it's true then one need not even bother with clones any more ..unless to ensure a garden of females..but I think the seeds were feminized anyway?
I'm gonna try some of the Grapefruit someday

the problem occured from moving plants from soil to hydro, and the light question...my resevoirs are kept completly dark, otherwise it could promote algae.

hi space.. so you moved your plants from soil to hydro...
how long did it take for the plants to recover? every few weeks smeone will come on here with a failed attempt... usually it is from hydro to soil that the people have trouble with...
any other advice you can give for this transitionary process..
thanks
