about to try shrooms! tips?

hey all, this guy i went to a party with wants to know if i want to do shrooms with him within the next week.. are there any tips you have reguarding dose., saftey, and like how to stay comfortable and happy?

i dont know never done shrroms. but ive heard ur suposed to take an 8th first time.

Man when i tripped about 2 weekends ago or maybe 3 it was me and 5 or 6 friends at a friends house....it was absolutely perfect. your mind set has alot to do with it, you gotta think positive...also, light some candles and keep the lights dark, that helps, esp with the visual part. we jammed out to steve miller for a long fuckin time, just chiled and stared at shit and talked about old times and whatnot. have fun!

Ive never done shrooms(yet), but ive heard that you should not fuck around, and start with a low dosage. Dont eat an 1/8 right away.

surround yourself with friends and other things that are pleasant.
The rare times i do shrooms anymore are up in the mountains of N California. Peaceful, beautiful, and full of excitement with little to no presence of any kid of authority except for Mother Nature Herself. IMO there is nothing like sitting under a giant Sequoia that is several thousands of years old and allowing my mind to wander.

careful with the dose.. it depends on your size. I took a little less than an eighth and was trippin balls and then ate the rest of the shrooms on a totally different day and STILL tripped. Depending on the shrooms.. a little can go a long way and you don't want to get so fucked up on your first time that you freak out. I would get an eighth and eat half and see what happens and if you're feeling up to it just eat the rest.

My best advice would be to do it in a very safe and familiar location away from authority figures. And do it with someone you trust.

Tip: smoke weed before you eat them. it makes your trip better too because how you feel before affects it

dude, thanks for that advice. ill smoke first, and take a little less than half an eighth like i said, i dont wanna suddenly jump into it and get a bad experience and never want to do it again. i wanna do it alot!

also, how long would a dose of half an eighth of shrooms last?

ive taken them like 4 times and i can say im done with them

usually we smoke on the come down and thats good cause it helps a lot

but the last time i took them i smoked after i ate them and before i started tripping - dam wtf - it hits you hard as hell and idk if i just didnt expect it or what but i had a bad trip - after the bad part was over it was cool but bad trips are not fun no way ever

dont eat less than half of an eigth. i say go ahead and eat an eighth. keep in mind that when they are starting to kick in, it makes you feel like your gonna throw up, some ppl do apparently, but not in all cases.

I did them for my first time the other weekend. Just make sure you are in a good place and that you know the people. I ate half an eighth and I was tripping balls. Make sure you are able to go out and explore, your going to want to. Everybodys face is going to look really weird, which is normal. If you have a lava lamp, use it. I've never seen a brighter green in my life. Also don't have anything on your mind at all. Be clear of everything. I had to work the next day which was bad. If you start thinking about something like, Oh I have homework or I have to go to work tomorrow, bad thoughts rush at you like no other. If that does happen though, just think about something positive. Have fun! :thumbsup:

i have never thrown up from eating them nor have i seen any of my friends

when i took them its like a sick feeling then i would be like well thats cool - and just look around at shit and eventually that sick feeling goes away and its just crazy

i always did them at night when my friends parents would go to sleep
so we would fall asleep in the morning - from the time i took them till the time i was able to fall asleep was between 6hours(last trip) and 10hours (3rd trip)
so be prepared to trip for a while

its definitly a good experiance - i personally would recommend not smoking till the comedown for your first time but others would say different - all depends how strong your mind is i guess

I did shrooms a few nights ago... but only ate a gram... i was a mellow, confortable trip...not intense at all, and was kind of weak, but i smoked lots of pot and it brought the trip up quite a bit. You dont need an eight the first time... i have tripped my ass off on only 2 grams. But i am a lightweight. Id take atleast 2-2.5 g's of mushrooms for your first time...just to get the feel of them... they are definatly very unique, and unlike any other drug... so have fun, and when your trippin, think positive, because even one bad thought can cause a panic attack... I however always have good mushroom trips, i have a strong inner mind, and can control my hallucinations, to benefeit me.

ive done shrooms a couple of times. I suggest after u eat them to drink orange juice(it increaces your trip) also go outside look at trees and shit. what ever u do do no sit in your room in the dark(i did that and started freaking out and then i went into my bathroom and stared at my shag carpet for 2 hours) also if the stars are out i suggest you lay back and stare at them its the best feeling in the world
