New to the board and to marijuana...want to share experiences and get some feedback

Hey guys, I'm new to the board and new to smoking weed. I'm 16 and so far I've smoked 3 times. I'm just looking for some clarification and feedback on my experiences. This is gonna be a long post, so if you dont feel like reading about a noobs experiences I wouldnt read this. Im going to try and give a detalied explanation without exagerrating anything.

1st time:
my first time smoking weed, I was with two of my friends and we hotboxed his car in my garage. We smoked about 3-4 bowls from my friends glass pipe. I'm not sure the quality of the weed, but I didd't get very high, if I even did at all. At first I just had a little bit of a buzz, similar to a cigarette, but not much else. About 20 min. later we went to the mall, and still not feeling any effects other than a general sense of happiness, at one point me and my friend just laughed at each other for a good 5 minutes, and I remember a sample from the food court tasted better than normal. Most likely it was just a case of not getting high my first time.

2nd time:
This time I smoked with one of my friends who supposedly had some of the best weed he had ever smoked, and I smoked about 2 bowls from his homemade pen pipe. The effects didnt come till about 15 minutes later when I was in my basement and we were playing a video game, I got really confused and kept looking at his screen and getting mad since the guy wasn't doing what I wanted(we were playing halo 2). I remember just lauing ang laughing at stupid stuff. I stood up, and my vision was kinda blurry, everything seemed to be in slow-motion, and when I turned my head it was like a saw 20 different frames of vision, like my head could turn faster then I could see. I remember walking around my house for a good while kind of in a daze. We decided to walk up to taco bell, and as we walked I just kind of zoned out and it didn;t even feel like I was walking, I just floated there. It was like watching what I was seeing on a TV a centimeter away from my face. Everything was far enough away just to seem weird. When we got to taco bell, and I ordered some food, which took me a long time, since it was really hard to comprehend the price and get the money out. Later we just sat there for a long time, probably an hour, and I just chilled listening to the music. When I went home I got really tired and eventually fell asleep.That was it.

3rd time(today):
my friend and I decided to buy about an 8th, again I'm not sure how potent it was, but I know it wasnt shitty, and we borrowed my friends pipe. We went outside and we smoked the remnants of what was in the pipe, which was not much. We took out what we purchased and smoked about 3 bowls between the two of us. The effects were a lot more prominent this time, and definatly not as fun. I got the same frame vision, and everything slowed down and my vision was really blurry. I couldnt quite concentrate on anything for more than 5 seconds, and constantly forgot what I was doing, I was in a daze. I do remember laughing a lot with my friend though. Later We went inside and I started to feel VERY dizzy, and a slight headache was coming on. We watched a little bit of the Blues hockey game, and it wasn't interesting, it just made me tired. I walked around a bit, and it just felt like I wasn;t completely in control, just basically a weird not fun feeling. I would do things and not even realize I was doing them, but I could still think normally. Eventually I started to feel more sick and I just layed down on the floor, and everything started to get worse. I was so dizzy with my eyes closed, it felt like i was being swung around and that gravity was a thousand times stronger. When I opened my eyes everything was very blurry and fuzzy, eventually I had to go lay down in my bed, and I felt basically like I had a fever. I slept for around an hour and a half, woke up and was still very dizzy with a much worse headache. Im feeling much better now, although just a little sleepy. Overall a bad experience.

I have been very interested in weed, a lot of my friends smoke it, and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I still don't think i've discovered it all. This can't be what everybody is so crazy about. I havent noticed any change in the way I see things, such as intensified color or geometric patterns and shapes, or any hallucinations for that matter. I havent had a chance to listen to music much, but from what I did listen, didn't notice any drastic change, just like the world was toned down a bit. I havent noticed a big change in food tasting a lot better... it just seems like there has to be more.
Do you guys have any advice or any similar experiences...

No, you haven't experienced the everything. Once you get to the point where you don't laugh at everything that happens, and can just think willfully about important things, you can get into some deep, interesting thoughts you never knew you were capable of :).

i like both having a blast and laughing, and also exlploring my mind. so weed is overal a great thing... you were either very high... lucky you,,, or you may have gotton weed with other shit mixed in it... or maybe you smoked stems/beaners..

try try and try again..... unless its not about smoking weed.

I find I get a lot higher when smoking all to myself. Buy a gram of dank and smoke it all to yourself. Once you've done that report it here. :rasta:

Well some of you experiences were typical, the whole gravity thing used to happen to me when I first started smoking, 35 years ago, I can relate to the floating while walking and to the food tasting better, the laughter, the munchies, etc... Sounds like the second and third time you definitely had better smoke that on the first time.

However, if you are actually expecting to see things like geometic shapes and halucinations, you will need something much stronger than Marijuana, I personally do not reccomend harder drugs but, that is just my opinion.

As for you experiencing everything Marijuana has to offer, not even close. Smoke in a relaxed enviroment with a few good friends, turn on your favorite music or video, grab a large soda and a large bag of Cheeto's, Doritos or any other chip varieties and relax. It will come.

YOu got heaps heaps high on the last time same thing has happened to me like my vision becomes centred and all around is like blurry kinda like opening my eyes underwater and my whole face felt hot and i couldnt stand up without nearly passing out.... :thumbsup: well my guess is that because your a noob and the experience is new you didnt know how to approach or handle it to keep yourself under control, personally when i had the same thing as u i controlled it sat down with some food and a drink and played mtx vs atv unleashed its a fucken sick game music BLASTING :dance: :dance: FUNNEST time i've ever had except for my first man that was fucked up haha keep at it bro you will have the hang of it soon enough remeber its all in your head :p i usually get this feeling when i havent smoked in about a month then i blaze up :rasta: :rasta:

I probably would call it a "bad trip" I will put it that way, I also have experienzed that.. You are probably just to anxious or tense.. Lighten up, and don't get to paranoid..!:p

When I first started smoking, I was soo anxious and tense.. We were just walking in a park and saying hello to people who came walking by, and I just started floating exactly as you put it, and all off a sudden, I just fall down and start throwing up..! Me and my favorite smoking buddy have laughed at that ever since!:D:D Just don't let it get to you and again relax..

Another time, it was in the winter time, I started to feel dizzy as we were walking down the same park.. It started getting dark, and I got very paranoid, so I threw up again.. :p Then everything bacame a movie, a I starred in it :smokin:
A couple of girls who my buddy knows, come walking in the other part of the park, and I starts getting paranoid, but he has smoked a while longer than me, so he starts pulling my shirt, and then finally I start running, the toughest run in my life, so I run, suddenly I just start throwing up and shit.. Then FINALLY we get to his place.. I start to relax, (smoke some more:p) a little music, and it got so much nicer!:D

Anyone who read this, don't laugh, (to much:p)

I just hope this alex kid stop being paranoid, and gets to enjoy the smoke..!:)

Next time i'll try smoking a little less, and take a brake after maybe a bowl or a few hits to see if that does the job. I don't really think i've been paranoid, maybe just a bit when I saw my neighbor walking by, but I havent had a panic attack or anything. I was a lot less nervous this last time, just me and my friend chillen outside. Ill just try grabbin a soda and some chips and maybe watching tv or a movie, but when I was watching the hockey game and playin video games this last time, I just kept putting my head in my hands and stuff cause I was so dizzy and dazed out. Ill just keep trying, smoke a little less, hopefully my body just had to get used to it, and it will be better from now on... :thumbsup:

You should have the answers by now, basically: Smoke a little less each time, be in a relaxed enviroment, have something to eat and drink (your favorits) and just..

dude, try smoking maybe 1 bowl with a friend. and dont like smoke it all at once. light it up, take a few hits each, and smother it, wait for a little effect, smoke a few hits again, and put it out. that way, its managable that way.
and dont smoke immediately, just you know, chill out, have a drink, smoke a joint. dont anticipate, just like, you know, relax man.
one think that really works is too just get a few friends,sit in like your basement, and smoke a joint between you. if you are just starting, dont oversmoke its like overkill.
also, listen to you favorite band while high.
man, smoking pot should not be hard. it should be chill.

sorry if i am a bit nonsensical, i just smoked a little resin on basil :)

smoke alone man, you'll realize what your mind is truly capable of and i think you smoked too much your 3rd time, this won't happen if u smoke alone and control how much u want to smoke.
