My High Friend Went Totally Nuts

Alright... so recently, like about an hour ago, I went to smoke with a buddy of mine who lives next to me. He's cool, he's super chill when he's high, and he smokes a lot, no problem.

I had just acquired some weed that was actually pretty damn good, it was $50 for an 1/8th. So I got it, and I smoked him out. We smoked in separate devices (me smoking out of the pipe, him smoking out of my bong)..

So we smoke, and he's like, "dude, I'm feeling weird." So I thought nothing of it because he always says that, and I was like "smoke more dude." So he did. And then we got up, and we walked back, giggling a lot because we were both so damn high.

So we get back to my room, and he just stands by the door, and he's quiet. I'm like, hey <name omitted>, do you want to get some drinks from your room? And he just is still standing there, looking at the window, he's still in his huge jacket, the hood on and everything. He starts muttering under his breath.

Singing to himself. Touching himself all over. Singing. Laughing. Staring off into space. Generally high and tripping his fucking nuts off like he's on shrooms. So I'm all trying to get him to chill, I fail, I try again, I fail, I try again, I fail, I try again, I fail, and so finally, I'm like, "DUDE, CHILL OUT. SERIOUSLY." And he looks at me, and down at the futon, and just slumps down over the back of the futon.

Quiet at first, and then getting steadily louder, He starts saying weird-ass things like "Oh my god.. It's going to get me. The world is riipping apart. I'm dying inside."

So I kinda hit him, and I'm all like, "dude, chill the fuck out. Everything is ok." (Keep in mind that I actually had smoked twice as much as him out of my pipe's huge-ass bowl).

So he's slumping down, and he shifts his weight suddenly (he weighs about 260 lbs.) and the chair looses support, and he falls down, and moans pitifully. So I pick him up, and mutter, "your embaracing yourself and me." And then I tell him to leave.

So he just sits down. I try to get him to chill the fuck out. I fail. I try to get him to chill the fuck out. I fail. I try to get him to chill the fuck out. I fail. I try to get him to chill the fuck out. I fail.

So then I'm just like, "Dude.. just leave this room. Just go back to your room.


And I give him visine, he missed, squirting it all over his face. I take them, and simply drop them in like normal.

I send him on his way, and he almost falls over his chair again on the way out.

I look at my roommate, sad, and explain that, "I had smoked twice as much as he did, and look at me." I was totally straight.

So my roommate says, "dude.. you realize that when he came in here, he basically had a panic attack, followed by a nervous breakdown."

True That.

So basically.. the motto of the story is: Know Your Limits. Respect the POWER OF THE HERB.

i've had friends do that before. like you said, a combination of too much bud and not enough experience. It's when you learn to channel all that to the inside that you start having real fun.

it happend to me. except i had smoked a full quarter ounce and a couple hits of saliva 20X. i couldnt talk or think right, i didnt know who i was i was incredibly depressed and found absoultley no reason to live. i also understood so much about life that it scared the shit out of me. and theeeeen my friend was talking to me and i screamed and was crying because he looked so scary and i thought i was in the forest and i was convinced (absoultley POSITIVE) that he was the devil coming to get me.

the first time i smoked, i thougt i was going to die...

I was like 16, and it was like 8:30, and my stomach was on the swings, and i kept calling for my friend, to help me live or whatever, and get me water... haha

I still remember, then we went to town, met up with all the girls and had a lot of fun yo, i didn't go home because i was still fucked, my body felt wierd for like a week

That is fucked up... haha, omg, that's fucking nuts.

I have a friend like that. We smoked a few bowls. And he was fucking flipping out, saying the most random things. Like it wouldn't make any sense, but it's structure sounded like a sentence. Something "Teen rage shampoo the towel red dog." That's the only thing I can remember, because after that I told him to go quiet down and watch TV. It was pretty funny, but it got annoying. Yeah.

That's trippy.

I have a friend who always acted normal when we smoked, then all the sudden every time we did she got all paranoid, muttering to herself, laughing at nothing, sometimes she'd turn into this angry bitch. And she just got diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Her trips weren't as extreme as that guys though. That's a really good story, man, made me laugh even though it probably wasn't funny to him.

Yeah, I think that it was pretty much a panic attack. I was angry at embarassed and scared when it happened. I talked to him today, and he was fine. Apparently he didn't really remember much of what happened...

But the funny thing is, he smoked the same amount that I had smoked, out of the exact same bong 3 times before that. It was just one bowl.. and I thought that he had a pretty good tolerance, etc...

Boy, was I wrong. I kinda blame myself for it, looking back on it.

That is so fucked... I've never heard of that happening before. Most I've seen is my friend collapsing on his ass from a huge hit he took... but never a panic attack. That is fucked.

My friend, after sharing three joints with me and another friend, promptly slumped to the floor, and didn't move or say anything for twenty minutes, even when spoken to. No response whatsoever. My other friend and I walked into the living room and watched Batman. Oldschool Batman. KOWPLOW! BAM! KAZOWEE!

I'de be prety scared if my friend started doing that because it sounds like it laced. But if you also smoked it, it must be fine. I've never had or heard of something happening like that . Funny ass story.

oh man that brings back bad memories. it was about the 4th or 5th time i got high. and all my previous highs were really good, the perfect highs to start smoking weed. not too strong not too weak...

anyway. it was me and 2 other friends in the woods. i smoked with one and the other built a fire. i had close to 20 hits of some pretty good shit. than i checked the time and it was close to 10:30 pm nd i had to be home at 11. i started freaking out. i freaked out and started screaming and running around a tree really fast, i don't remember what i was saying but it seemed to scare my friends. the next thing i kno i'm sitting on a log near the fire and i jus stare into the fire. than i go like psycho and start pacing and saying all this weird shit really loud. next thing i know im sitting on the rock to the fire pit and my leg is practically in the fire. my pants were so hot they burnt my legs. i came back to reality and asked my friends what happened and they said i really freaked out big time. i look into the fire and i start hear chickens clucking and i say " did you guys hear those chickens" and my friends are like "wtf are you talking about" than i guess the flames represented the devil and i started hearing like evil laughter or something. i wanted to leave so badly. my friends finally convinced me that i didn't seem high at all. so i went home and my folks immediately knew something was up. they kept telling my friends and i that they knew we were up to something. i blew my cover by taking some cookies and saying "why don't we always buy these cookies, they are so good" when it was the cookies we always bought. than i went in the shower and practically hallucinated getting beat.

one fucked up night...
at the beginnging i always used to freak out like crazy. after some experience you learn how to handle things. im happy i gave it a couple trys cause now i toke like crazy

eather that guys a pussy or im smoking sum pussy shit, ive smoked an ounce in a 1 hour time period and other then not being able to move a whole lot, and being stonded for 2 days after that night and not using any weed during those 2 days, i was just fine.

yeah dude my first time not smoke schawg i had sum mauwi wowi and i called up my frend jen and i was telling her all these stories that didnt even happen to me i remmember 1 of them i was like i opend the cuford and a fuking mr toad got me water and sumting like that sum crazy shit

Yeah.. honestly I think that it was:

1. This was only his 15th time smoking.

2. He was smoking the same amout of weed that I had a week before, and I've been smoking for 2 years.

3. He had his own device to smoke out of, which he had never done before, giving him a rush of THC to his brain that made him freak the fuck out.

I don't get the point of the story, aren't these pretty normal symptoms of being baked off your tits?

I always hear of stories like that, but after smoking for 4 years..I've never had any panic attacks or anything like that. I've had friends that went crazy in my pad before tho..so I know it can happen.

I hope it happens to me so I will be afraid to smoke and just take a break because I smoke everyday and want to take a break but I can't because herb is so fucking good. :)

Horseshit...2 of my buddies and I tried to smoke a whole ounce and after the 10th blunt we all decided to pass out and there was still a quarter left...you must have been smokin with like 7 people.

i hate people like that >.< i'm sick of people doing too much drugs and i have to go and clean up from behind them... everyone thinks that they can match my tollerance, and i tell them multiple times not to do so much if you can't handle it, they say ok, but never listen... then i gotta put up with them and try to calm them down becasue they don't know how to say "i've had enough" .... ~sigh~ for instance, had a friend come over, and try to smoke as much as i did and he kept going and going, well after he was stoned, and i was honestly just high, so i keep going to when i'm stoned. then he starts getting sick, and lays down, gets sicker, and sicker, keeps saying that talking is making it worse but won't shut the fuck up, he runs to the bathroom, pukes, comes back in here, and then tries to get me to get someone to drive him home because he's sick... he ended up riding his bike back home that night...

i must be a vet smoker.. first time i blazed in like grade 7 (now in grade 9) and that shit just dont happen no matter how much i smoke.. but sounds like he was smokin rock cuz thats the kind of shit it can do to u if u dont expect it.

thats happened to me once, wen i first started blazing, i would never get that high. i would smoke till i got buzzed, then i would quit. but one day i was really streesed out and smoked alot more than normal, and evrything looked really far away and was moving really slow. i thought i was hallucinating so i asked my freind to help me. he punched me a few times and then evrything turned blurry. the next day my freind shows me a pic of me mooning cars. that was the first time i got truly stoned. now i smoke till that hapens almost all the sessions i smoke. :) But i dont talk like a dumbass anymore, i just chill and keep my feelings to myself
