If you've ever written and recorded a song or a demo or an album, even, then my advise is to listen to this while stoned. You will never find anything more "meaningful" than that. I remember the first time I ever put on my band Elskov (norwegian for making love in a very passionate way), which is a mixture between blackmetal, doommetal, heavy rock and progressive rock. My mind fell into a state of filosophic awe that I've never experienced elsewere. I'm not saying that the music was the only reason (it sure helped by beeing very low-end and slow before shifting to more rapid movements), but the fact that I was the one who'd made it, was the greatest ego-trip ever. Try it out, you won't regret it.
