if bud were really legal, do you really think ud want everybody smoking it? i mean first of all the same supply would have to be dispersed among a huge new demand, so its guaranteed that prices will go up. and dont you think seeing ads for it on tv, and every dork in the world doing it would just make bud loose its magic?
i mean ud still get high, but you wouldnt feel as naughty :(
thats why i dont want it legal, decriminalize it(as in dont lock me up for a dime or even an O, dont take my gear like spoon and what not when im caught) and be leniant on hidden coffe shops in the US and im cool :rasta:

in fact it doesn't feel naughty to me at all, it feels like regular shit that people do. i know there is nothing wrong about smoking pot, except in a few rare extreme circumstances, so it doesn't feel like i am doing something that i shouldn't be doing.
if it were decrim. or legal, then many more people would grow thier own or enough for friends, etc. if there were a legal market for it, then there would be arenas to legally grow it, so with increasing demand would come an increased supply.
mj does not cost alot to grow, it can be done VERY cheaply.. prices would not need to go up in order to make insane amounts of profit, although they probably would... grow your own, then it won't matter :P

If you want to smoke pot in the US, you can. Everyone can if they put forth effort. But not everyone wants too. Decriminilization would only allow people to use pot that already do, or are on the edge of trying it. Lots of people will still not do it.
well just because its legalised will not mean a huge rise in usage (i think there was a study in holland on this aswell which proved it)people who are going to smoke it chances are do so already anyway, remember theres plenty of people that dont smoke anything at all and would never dream of it whether its legal or not
I dont feel naughty when i smoke, nor would i ever want to feel naughty because i smoke. When i smoke i feel like the free human being i was intended to be.

I agree with Mightymarijuanabuds. I wish that it was legalized so that we can purchase it much easier, perhaps our government in the U.S. can even benefit from the huge taxes they'd put on them. We wold be buying much better pot for far less money I'm sure. Plus we would each be able to grow our own supplies and not have to ration like I do. :thumbsup:
Yes, I'd like everybody to smoke. I guarantee you, at least half the people you now hate, would probably be much cooler people if you blazed with them.

Leagalized bud would be awesome because everyone could grow their own and smoke as they please. But another big issue tied up with bud is hemp. I'm talking about benefits that have nothing to do with getting blunted. If pot was legal then we could use all the hemp products we want, most people on these boards already know what I'm talking about but if you don't then I encourage you to go and look up some info on the subject.
Hemp is the same plant as pot "Cannabis Sativa" just grown in a different way and in different climates. The applications of hemp are wildly various for both the fibre and the seeds.
Also as to the idea that everybody would smoke if pot were leagal: Studies in the Netherlands showed that 8-10% of high-school seniors smoke pot regularly compared to 15-18% of American seniors. In the Netherlands it's not exactly legal but close enough yet less of them smoke, in the US you could go to prison for years for the same activity, yet we choose to do it on a wider scale. Why is that? Think for yourself.

in my college dorm nearly everyone there were ppl that i would have normally had little to no tolerance for, and it was probably mostly mutual (cept that freakin hippie), but we all smoked pot, so we all got along really well :D

So basically you smoke because its cool. Why do you think it makes you cool. It's a plant who cares if everyone does it. And if everyone did it prices would most likely go down not up. Why do you think big business' are generally cheaper than small ones? Because they still manage to make a good profit because of the mass quanities they sell. I don't think everyone would do it just because it was legal. Not everyone drinks and it's legal not everyone smokes and it's legal. It would only be the ones who wanted to.
