What lights are you using??
i have only used flurecent lights
they look pretty good to me!
thos look really good for only 2weeks 12/12 under flor. what kind of nutes are you using for flowering?
to tell the truth i only used miricle gro (ahhhhhh) scralidge. i now but this is my first time growing and have just got the computer so didnt have any info hoping next grow will be better
look great to me too, but I know nuttin:)
my first grow too.
Best of luck.
Those look very good..!:)
You have nothing to be worried about!;)
Just let them grow and grow and grow and grow.. well, you get the point!:p
they are perfectly fine... for my experience i bet those plants are gonna take from 9 to 10 weeks to be ready. but they are looking great mate!
Soak in the knowledge little grower. www.weedfarmer.com
or www.overgrow.com Either or ;).
Love that one cartoon on Weedfarmer though in the rockwool(book) where the guy has his hand in the water and is getting fried. Classic. I wonder how many people actually make that mistake. It would be hilarious to see.
Also stay away from all miracle gro products (they're horrible for heavy metals....and were not talking the beneficial metals(ie:trace) especially if you get any manufactured in canada). Just go to any garden centre get togethers(ask any local stores that have them when the next one is) or ask the botany dept at any local university , they ALL seem to hate that company....as well as greenhouses(hating the company that is). But of course they still SELL it......hypocrites....and get an HPS please! your plants will love you for it! (although theres still huge arguements over which is better Hps vs MH , in my personal estimation Hps is better overall, they also sell them as security lights in up to 150 watts cheaply ;).....Canadian Tire barely ever puts them on sale but has em nonetheless).
thanks for all your info
all this info is shit, plants are looking to be sufferening with nutrient defiencys if you look at the far leaves on the 1st pic you will see burnt tips this is due to too much fertiliser flush regularly and dont feed it any more nutrients as all the leaves should be yellow by harvest, now you can see the plant has utilised all of the chemicals in the leaves and will taste a lot better
thanks for that hubblebubble
all the info is shit? Feel free to keep smoking your heavy metals then ;) and ignore people (ie: the sites given in both mine and trichrome's examples) who have together more than centuries of experience yep ignore that shit.....lol....what do they know after all. Scobbie do the research and compare dont ever just take one person's word for it.....Which nutrient is it deficient in hubble? Care to make a "guess"........as you contradict yourself in the next sentence with too much nutrient???? Just has me boggled. Also these burned tips you speak of dont seem to exist no matter how much I zoom......(on any leaves). (the closest thing I can see is the slight distortion when you zoom enough making it appear to be a white line but is simply the pixel shading....unless of course you can see scobbie's plants firsthand......)
Reading and learning is a necessary skill that all should have.....and exercise, if you refuse to learn from others mistakes your doomed to repeat them.
Other than that , Your plants look fine Scobbie. (and read both those sites people with alot more experience than any of us frequent them and put alot of effort into educating others, some are rude but you just pass them over and 90% of the time they're just trolls not one of the experienced people, it's fairly easy to tell).
I suggest checking out different curing methods especially , there are quite a few of those, and each person likes a different one usually ;). Also pruning for yield , once you feel comfortable enough after a grow or two. Very handy.
Oops my bad I looked at his former posts(hubbles) and I see he only trolls anyway....explains alot. Especially the glaring mistakes that are often made.....(either way scobbie you gotta do the reading sorry man I know it sucks ;) ).
"nutrient defiencys"?? I'm with Weirdo79 on this one...where do ya see that? Also, once again I agree...get yourself a HPS for the babies...it'll help with the trichome developement and the yield!
Your in the torture stage...lookin' good enough to toke up but not there yet! Be sure to flush out all the nutes two weeks before dry and keep in mind that the curing process is the iceing on the cake and just as important as everything else you've done to this point.
I got a few links in my signature you may want to check out. The babies are lookin' real good! Good luck with the remainder of the grow!!
Hey Psycho was wondering you ever try the water cure to quick dry some bud? , I was especially surprised how well it works (but wouldnt do it for a large amount as flavour and smell are a big thing for me and theres so little to work with already (I love c99's) so basically water cure for them is more of a speed issue. (to me)
Hello Scoobie :) The plants look lovely, healthy, all you can ask for :)
I'm reposting one of you're pics love, because I've tried to mark off a couple of small areas about half way down the plant. just check those only I'm not sure they might be a couple of male buds ;)
love mand xxx :)
Ooops, sorry Scobbie, I spelt you're name wrong :o
love mand xxx :)
Very well might be a little male genitalia going on there.
There's one right between Mand's black boxes at the node which looks even more like a male ball to me.
Hope we're just playing Blow Up and are mistaken, Scobbie.
The shadow knows.
:smokin:
Hell SJ :) I hope I'm wrong ;)
The one in the top square seems to resemble a bud not yet open and the one in the bottom square kinda looks like little yellow petals about to open.
It's difficult to tell from a pic but I thought I'd best tell Scobbie.
love mand xxx :)
thanks mand im in a bit of a dillema here me being the uknowledgable retard of the groers boards but here goes any way are these plants female as i chequed the plants thourally for signs of being male ,the sights that you are talking about on the picture are bud sights wich have now opened and other buds have came out of them thick white hairs have also came out this has happened all up the stems at the part were the of the stem were the larg fan leaves come ,any more info you can give me would be great as im a sponge for knowledge here, thanks for your help sweetheart and everyone else who gave info on this ,bang on people keep it coming
Hello Scobbie :) hope I didn't worry you love :o
I would definately not describe you as uknowledgable, growing plants like that, they really do look fantastic and only two weeks into flowering .................lovely job :)
There's nothing more I can add you're doing fine but I always try to answer questions if I can :o
Anyway just keep updating, it's nice to see how they are going to progess, I'm growing a mix of seeds on my next grow Sensi skunk and Skunk#1 but the next Spring grow after that I'm thinking about a few White Widows so it's going to be intresting to see how they go on ;)

scobbie
Never even heard of it! What is it actually, the process I mean. Myself, I hang dry the entire plant for 15 days and then cut off the branches and hang them for an additional 7. Then we're off to cure in some mason jars for 2-3 weeks opening all the jars for a half hour each day. MMMM MMMM GOOD!!! :thumbsup:Quote:

It also mutes the smell and taste quite a bit (for those I guess who can't take it) Basically makes a very potent (hence less weight so higher concentration) non smelly non tasty weed (that still gets the job DONE! ;) ). I'd never use it for a large amount (I love curing for flavour and smell personally) but to get that half oz to tide you over its great :).
Apparently it also gets "mould" if theres mould on the plant submerging it for days destroys that mould ! so use it on your mouldy buds too!, Best part is you dont lose any crystals compared to handling it yourself (air cure etc). I couldnt believe it till I saw the science behind it , it boggled my eyes lol!. But of course for "reg" bud anything I want for a long time Id go air cure but for damaged and "NOW WANNA SMOKE" buds I use water, surprisingly effective (just once again dont expect that flavourful a bud or a high aroma).
hey scobbie if you want a tough plant (and your not a retard dont say that man your asking and willing to learn THAT's a class act...!), Try C99 if you've got space only problem it occasionally has is PM (powdery mildew) almost never hermies so you can use and abuse em ;). And im praying right now that both mand and sj are wrong about those male buds (I see what they were talking about) everyone! Pray for scobbie! no hermie no hermie no hermie! (sorry I missed that myself the first time I was just looking for the burned tips "pointed" out by the troll eeep my bad!)
