Keeping Bud Outside

I got busted with a half ounce of mail order bud about two months ago. The hiding spot was in my house and it was great. The only reason my Mom found it was because the smell was so potent. I sort of got accustomed to it, but when I went to a football game she searched my entire room for the source of the smell, and found it.

Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you keep your buds outside and what you do(even in extreme weather) to make sure they stay dry and fresh? If you don't, do you have any ideas?

I'll have too access it a lot, so burying it isn't a very good option. And I can't keep it on my property.. my parents will wonder why I keep going to the woods in plain view of them.

I have to keep this on someone else's property but I also need to make it look like either part of nature or hide it very well and hope no one ever finds it or sees me hiding it and trying to find it themselves. If some prick found the safe, he'd just take it and try to brake it open with a sledgehammer or something.

I could just put it in a ziploc container and attach sticks and leaves to disguise it.. that might hold up pretty well, but I'm just looking for an ingenuis idea that will be practically infallible.

Mason jars...

Do you know where to buy cheap, reliable mason jars? I tried making absinthe in a glass jar one time and when I came back to change the ingredients and seep out the wormwood, it had all leaked out.

well try to make a hidden stash out of common household...or buy one at a head shop...or tell your parents to chill the fuck off...tell them that you will smoke any way and it's better to do it safely at home...if they are psychotic type and tell you you will go in a treatment tell them they don't really love as they wont really here you feeling and all that emotional shit always work...god i'm happy my parents are hippys!

It's the best absinthe recipe on the net, and got a 9.4/10 rating based on 50 or so votes.

The vodka MUST be atleast 100 proof or else the end product will be an ugly, murkey brown color and not the fluorescent green that is desired. I recommend using Everclear(if it's legal in your state) and adding water so you can control exactly what proof you want it to be.

And... well, add some extra wormwood if you know what I mean ;). Not to much, though. You do not want the flavor getting out of hand. Drop a sugar cube and an ice cube into each shot before you take it, absinthe is VERY bitter.

Anyways, I'm thinking about using a good mason jar, cutting into a hollow tree very subtly, and hiding it in there. I only have to worry about people seeing me, as the average person wouldn't think to look in a tree...

You're welcome. And you're right, burying it would be the best and safest way.. but if I have to access it a lot(which I do) wouldn't it be extremely annoying to dig it out every single time.. and when I go back home.. re-burying it?

buy a small brown wooden box and burry it so its like 1 inch from the top of ground and then cover with dirt

i still say, convince the peeps around you pot is not as bad as the media says, like they (media, not your surrounding) are a bunch of blood sucking whore, and by blood i mean money...

get a mason jar, put your weed in said jar, wrap jar in saran wrap, put jar under dirt...marks spot with something

use film cannisters with a sandwich bag pushed in.also what i used to use was in my room i would get a hammer and make a small hole in the wall.then put your stash there and cover it with a poster.no one will ever remove the poster to check whats behind it

Is it possible to buy a single log? I could hollow out a log, put it in there.. cover it with grubs and mud so no one wants to touch it.. and put it where there are other logs.

Yeah I know I'm making a bigger deal out of than I should, but my house is out of the question. If my parents find a big stash again I'm going to military school.

there's a few ideas.... if you're house is up off the ground (liek some houses seem to be about 6 inches off the ground, to whre a small person could climb up under it) i would say put it in about 3 ziplock bags and secure it up underneathe the house (far fro mthe ground) ....yuou ju8st have to use your imagination...there's too many hiding places for me to sit her enaming everywhere you COULD hide it.... just keep in mind, anywhere outside is going to involve multiple baggin system to insure it's not exposed to nature, and needs to be out of sight completely, not just camoflouged... as long as it's in a few bags, and the air you could possibly suck out of it, it's not going to be in any worse conditions than if it were inside out of the weather, it really doesn't need as much "protection" as some people seem to think.

God... that sucks. I don't know if my room smells like it... I can never tell anymore. I hide it in a stash box I made out of card-board and duct-tape. :D And on the top it says "DRUGS" and it's under my bed. No one's found it yet. And it's been a couple months since I made.
