Hi all..this is becoming quite annoying. I havent smoked in about 10-11 weeks now and i have this strange feeling in my hands when i touch things like i cant feel them properly (numbish/pins & needles). I believe it hasent gone since i very first started smoking which was 1½ years ago but im not sure. Any ideas, what this could be?
see a doctor, this is nothing in relation with pot...don't mention him first, but he have no clue of what it could be than mention you smoked pot...other wise they could use it as another anti-pot propaganda!
well thats weird because I had a lil session before a soccer game and my hands and upper body started to go numb, and it does that sometimes for some reason...

i think i read that it was something to do with blood circulation to the hands and that you shouldent smoke cannabis. But that could be total bs.

its probably unrelated to marijuana. usually you get this feeling because the nerves in your elbow or shoulder are being compressed. go see a chiropractor. i know this because im a pitcher and had that same problem in my throwing arm and it was just because my arm was getting too tight.
oh yeah..it only seemed to first happen when i mixed >tobacco< with herb. If that could be something to do with it?.
yea it sometimes happens to me but only for a shot time when im really buzzin .... ask a doctor see what he says
Actually ive been havin the same problems/feelings with my hands, and im pretty positive its related to pot, it happens to some people who smoke cigs alot too, but i guess smoking increases the amount of carbon monoxide in ur body which restricts bloodflow to your limbs esp. hands so that may be the reason for the tinglin or numbing....mine get cold too, yours?
i dnt think ive had the cold problem before. But i tend to grab things harder when i get the numbish feeling. You had any look on what it could be?

i dont know what causes it but im telling you, the best way to stop it is to strech and if you know how to, get someone to pop you back. you just lie on the ground, take a deep breath, have someone push the heel of their palm on part of your back and then you exhale.

He could have a bunch of kinks in his back. Before my dad went to the chiropracter his hands always went numb because the problems in his back were restricting whatever it is he needed to feel loose and stuff. Go to a massage therapist or something!

i knew a guy who went through a period with numb hands then started stretching/working out more and he hasnt had a prob since
if it only happens when you mix with tobacco, i think you should learn something from this...

Nicotine does many bad things such as depressing respiratory and circulatory operations, causing problems.
And i dont think it would be from pot alone... Thc Raises your heart rate slightly, increases circulation, and opens your cappilaries. so buddha would most likely bring the feeling back

i know if your body gets low on vitiman B-12 it can cause numbness in fingers and limbs that feels like needles...i am pretty positive marijuana doesnt affect vitiman b-12, however, it couldnt hurt to try taking some multivitimans or B-12 suppliments and see if that helps any....just a thought.
