Yeah, I've seen that one a bunch of times. There seems to have been a surge of gangster movies that came out of that era in the early/mid nineties. (Hence Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood)

oh I just saw that the other day for the first time and that is a good movie. Sad
ending though!

Altered States is about cognitive exploration with a sensory deprivation tank, right? I can't remember the whole movie, but I enjoyed it. I liked the other two I quoted. Easy Rider's ending's kinda sad, huh.
