Weed overdose

So i was in history the other day and the topic of prohibition of alchohol came up. i raised my hand and said weed should be legalized over alchohol because....( u guys no why lol ). so anyway everyone in my class thought that weed is bad because if you smoke to much of it you can overdose. i got furious and stood up and tried to explain to these morons that u can smoke a pound of weed if u want in one day but the chances of you finishing it is slim because you will pass out before then so i told everyone its impossible to overdose on weed cause youll just eventually pass out and wake up to another packed bowl and do it all over again. they argued and said that anyone can overdose on anything. anyway i jus wanted some opinions on this and i want the truth about overdosing on MArijuana and if its true cause so far i dont think it is. :rasta: :D

just remind them there have been NO reported deaths from cannabis alone...EVER

umm you can over dose on weed..BUT the ratio is 40,000-1 (in other words, 1= amount to get stoned...40,000 times that amount will kill you)

alchohol is 4-1

marijuana can have several bad long term effect on a persons body, but it is physically imposible to die from a marijuana overdose, the main reason why marijuana should be legalised

Makes you wonder why tobacco and alcohol are still legal and marijuana isn't. Oh ya, that's right, I remeber now.......money.

you would have to consume your body's weight in THC to overdose... and this is impossible, you would have to smoke like 15000 pounds in 1 minute.

Trust me you cant overdose if your life depended on it(on weed). The most you will do is throw up

if you smoke a one acre feild of fully devolped mature marijua plants for every pound in your body (thats 134 acres for me) you will ovedose.

oh, and thats in one sitting

i've heard the only way to overdose is to smoke your own body weight in an hour. and what makes those people think you cant od on alchohol?

I have never heard of anybody dying from a puffing a joint or hitting a bong. I also have never heard of anybody having any long term effects. The only bad thing about marijuana is that it's illegal. It being "illegal" it makes it a commodity, so it has value. Thats not good for your more then average smoker. If weed was legal I believe that weed would have a different meaning to everyone.

People that don't smoke they think that it is really bad stuff. I see their reactions when they find out that i smoke weed. Their like you shoudn't smoke. I think that their just thinking about it being ILLEGAL and its against the law. So your a really bad person. Well thats what I have noticed lately. It's not everyone because there is some cool people that don't smoke. I have been smoking weed for 8 years now. :rasta: I having missed a day without a toke :stoned: . I've spent so much money on my weed need. So thats my only problem that i have with weed.

Yeah, but it won't get legalized if you keep up that apathetic attitude. Argue about it all you can, I've actually talked to lots of people who aren't potheads who are willing to listen about it, and at least say more than it's just "bad". There's my two cents.

NO it is commonly and truthfully known that NOONE has died ever from a weed overdose there was a couple with stupid reasons behind them but no actual death from cannabis in all of recorded time so why would it ever happen now

no, not provo, park city. i don't really like this state, but i do like park city. lol, it's almost like it doesn't belong here. i do agree, we need to make a lot of noise about how weed isn't bad and it needs to be legalized. i kinda just meant not to keep arguing to his class because it seems as though they did not want to listen nor change their minds.
