How can you not have a capital at the start of your name?

This has been bugging me for a while. I'm all about my grammar and punctuation and all that stuff. What i want to know is, how the fuck you can live with yourself knowing your name on here hasn't got a capital at the start.
This may sounds really weird.. but that's how i feel.

robert42 for example, i'd have to make it Robert42
beachguy in thongs - Beachguy In Thongs
buddymyfriend - Buddymyfriend
Whos Carl - needs to be Who's Carl (if you can put an apostrophe in your name)

There are many, many others, but i just feel that for a name that people see many times a day, it needs to be written correctly.

Not everyone here is as, what's the word, they don't really care because it's not like they're being graded in life for this, because it's easier for them.

I try and type, and write in a proper manner, that's how I was taught a few years back in English when I upgraded. Before, I could care less, but the more I do it, the better I get at it. You never know that someday I may have to write a very important letter, to some important person, for an important reason. I don't want to look like a dipshit when I'm 30.

I don't think you should really care how other people write 3sheets. As long as I can read it, understand it, then who cares. Your not the English teacher here, I am! ;) Kidding...don't be such a prude though :) Peace

I'm your buddy, my friend.
Whos is his first name, Carl is his last.

i wish i would have capitolised my name: The Last Stand looks so much better...but then agian, i wish i hadn't got banned from my BUZz UK account...that had the first 3 and last 2 letters in caps...

I don't care how people type, i'm on about the usernames on here, how people can not put a capital at the start.. and yes, i always just write "i" as it's easier... but i care about my name, that has been seen many thousands of times lol.

I like grammar and all, makes sense 2 start ur name with a capital letter. Its a representation of one's self. Makes me think of that old phrase of words; stand up, chest out, and head straight. lol. Respect :dance:

I feel the same, your name is who you are on here, have respect for it, if you don't use proper grammar when you type, at least make your name look good with capitals and all :D

I remember actually considering whether or not I should make the L capital. I decided not to because I figured it would look better.

I understand where you are coming from 3 sheets, it doesnt really bother me how other people write their names but I can imagine it makes you feel uncomfortable, like if I see something squint I have to put it straight or it annoys me.

Yeah, I'm a perfectionist, I love symmetry, which I think has something to do with why things have to be in line and stuff.

It's not like I put everything in order, my room's usually a mess... but when people can see, I like things to be in tip-top condition :D

Well, the L/l phenomenon does have a tendency of confusing people. Think "imao". You know.. that crazy Asian word? ;)

True its just a word, but a word representing urself before others. Just as if you were to use Mr. vs nothing, it implies respect.

It is quite surprising how many people don't have a basic grasp of grammar and punctuation. I have read emails from company directors that can't use 'there & their' properly and 'to & too' it might be trivial to some people, but it is noticible.
I've noticed it's mainly people who don't read a lot of books who can't spell/punctuate that well.

I know someone who failed to get into the police because they had a few spelling mistakes and punctuation errors in their written essay.
