This is a plant my friend has had sitting in his window for about seven months.
It has one big bud on it.
Is there anything that can be done to ie cut off the bud.will the plant still grow any bigger?
Any advice on this would be great.

holy crap 7 months haha if he had a good setup he could have grown a crap load in that same amount of time.... i would say that plant doesn't have a chance but i'd still wait to hear from some of the senior members... maybe they can help ya pull off some magic
good luck
I dont' agree with something you said. You don't have to be a senior member to be an expert. I've been growing commercially for over 12 years and I haven't even reached 100 posts yet.Quote:

You need to grow cannabis in it's own pot and only one plant per pot and that container should be at least three gallons large.
i agree with trichome here... i too have been growing for several years, i recently came here because the last forum i visited sucked :)
there is a SLIGHT chance that you could cut off that plant and grow it out as a clone, but you would be much better off to dry the little bit of bud thats there and start over with new seeds, IMO :D
That's going to be the sweetest tasting one-hit wonder ever...
that is one headstrong plant :D
Nice one... LOL :D   :DQuote:

it is worth a try i think.
cloning a plant that has already flowered could work, but you are putting excess stress on the plant by reverting it back to a veg stage, there is always a slight chance that it could herm on you..
most of the time it works out fine, but personally, i would take what little bud is there and start over with a healthy, fresh plant... that one has been through so much that it isn't worth the effort to clone, IMO... plus the humidity required to keep a clone until it roots could cause mold on the bud, which could also kill the plant
its your project though.. do what ye will with it :D
thanks for all the info.i have passed it on.
Just out of interest, meaning no offence, is the plant yours? as it seems like the perfect excuse to say 'it's my friends' if you don't want to embarass yourself. correct me if im wrong but give a truthful answer.
no it is not mine.i have mine on another thread
