It's weird as hell to me, but apparently a lot of people either smoke with friends or not at all.
For about three years I didn't even have any smoke buddies, so I just got used to it, and now I love it just as much as with my pals.
Although, some think smoking alone means you have a problem. But, that seems more like an alchohol thing. Aw shit on it, I don't even care. The people who say that also say things like "WEED KILLS!" so fuck 'em all.
What's wrong with smoking alone?
Smoke with friends usually, but sometimes I say f it and smoke by myself.
I smoke alone most of the time. People that have hang-ups about solitary smoking are funny. They'll wait around for someone to share their stash with so they don't feel like "junkies". :rolleyes:
I just moved away from all my friends so all I do is smoke alone, but even before it was nice to go on a cruise by myself and burn one.
Or go out into the wilderness and sit very stoned in a zen-like state.

I enjoy smoking alone-- draw myself a hot bath, get in, light up, chill-- maybe with a rum and coke just to add to the feeling. Add some Marley for the session and some Family Guy reruns on TiVo to follow (plus a quart or two of Ben & Jerry's), and you've got yourself the best evening at home money can buy!
However, you kinda have to watch yourself when doing that. For a couple months, that basically turned into my Friday and Saturday nights-- mucho problemo. I wasn't addicted to weed so much as the routine. Anyway, I've been straight for over a month now, and am just waiting on my new bong to arrive in the mail to get toking again.
So the point of this? Go ahead and blaze alone, just watch that it doesn't become a habit.
I find that if i smoke alone I focus more on my high and can sorta let my self relax into getting higher and more comfortable. Nothing beats getting into the hot tub out on the deck after a long day and smoking a fat blunt to chill out...man its like heaven. :)

but i like to smoke with friends, because then i got someone to conversate with when i'm buzzin'. and my friends usually like talking to me when they're stoned, anyways. it's natural because otherwise i probably wouldn't hang with them!
Yeah, my therapist says it's different when you smoke with friends then when you smoke alone. But fuck that! HAHA. I perfer smoking alone sometimes, I mean I can just chill, watch tv, eat and pass out if I want vs. my friends wanting to do stuff or making sure I don't say something stupid.
Usually alone. After a long day at work, no better way to unload you head than to fire one up, and get spiritual with the ganja.

I most commonly smoke by myself but I do prefer smoking in the presence of someone else.

yep it's good to smoke alone,sometimes friends are kind of boring when your high(specially if you smoke a lot with them)
I smoke alone a lot, it's fun just getting high and listening to music without anyone else. I like the solitude I guess, that might be weird but whatever.
I also like smoking with friends, too. I bond with my guys when we do.
Alone I watch a good show on TV or a movie... or listen to a CD or come on here and just listen to music whilst on the board. Good for in the morning and for breakfest... and I feel more chilled with my mother, as opposed to the usual annoyance she gives me. But with friends... well, why NOT smoke with friends? I mean, you can talk about stupid shit... sometimes real deep shit... or just go and do stuff. Fuck it, I'll smoke it alone if I have it and if friends are around then why not share it with them, as they'll share with me when I'm over or ou with 'em. Smoke it all the time. Why only when you're alone?
i usually toke by myself but smoking with other people is good too. i tend to laugh more when i'm hanging out with people.
Yeah, don't let it turn you into a lazy fuck. The downside to smoking alone is that your not obligated to have to be constantly moving, and driving, whatever. It's better for me to just do my own thing. A lot of the times you sit their with nothing to do but think, or eat. The cure for that is occupying your mind. It'll work for the best in the long run...I hope anyway.Quote:

Reefer is the one drug I've done that I want to share with friends. I don't mind sharing my smoke, can't say I feel that way about other drugs. I work an odd shift at my job and all my friends are at work when I'm off so I smoke by myself every day. Its the best early in the morning. I get a big steamy cup of coffee and go down to the barn and feed my horses. While their having breakfast I fire up. Its so Gooodd! The sun coming up is so beautiful and the air is crisp and clear (sometimes a beautiful fog). It seems like just me and my beasts are the only ones in the world. God meant for us to smoke I think. If I'm very quiet I'll see the deer come into or cross the pasture. I also have wild pigs out here (they're mean and ugly, but they are God's critters also) Anyway that's the best time for me to smoke alone. Also all throughout the day but morning is the very best.

Well that sucks 3sheets. Alot of my friends quit smokeing too, said they outgrew it (WHAT???) bUT they didn't seem to outgrow that nasty beer. I think its horrible it just tastes nasty. I guess its an acquired taste, beer is. Anyway a lot of friends still smoke. I quit using anything but reefer years ago. That other stuff just seemed to mess up my life. But a good joint just helps you appreciate life. Anyway thats my thoughts on it. Going for a drug screen in a couple of hours so I have to drink this nasty stuff... then I'm gonna burn a big one Can't wait Oh and anyway someone who loves you doesn't make you change your habits. If you want to quit do it for yourself but not because someone doesn't like what you do. Smoking is kind of who I am Get it?

I prefer to smoke alone, as when I'm high I tend to make people uncomfortable. I don't mean to do it, it's just I get lost in my thoughts and stare for hours not saying a word. Someone told me it looked like I was thinking about killing someone. It bums me out, I wish I could toke up with others, but I don't want to creep anyone out and kill their buzz, so alone I smoke.
Still, smoking alone has it's benefits. Start running a hot bath with sandalwood oil, go smoke, come back inside and hop in... It's damn near spiritual.

ill be with a big group of people toking up. once im high i just wanna go somewhere dark...an alley, the corner of the room..if its night ill walk into the woods.
they tend to get the impression i'm usin em for their stash. not true. once my senses are heightened the stimulation is overwhelming. i feel creative and introspective suddenly and also paranoid and overanylatical :smokin:
I smoke, day after day, alone. And last time I smoked with someone, I mostly sat there with a blank face while a story was being told, waiting for him to smoke it.
Yeah... smoking with people.. it's good, but none of my friends got high like i did, no idea why, but it pretty much sucked... was pretty good sometimes.. but usually it was in dodgy places and there being the risk of getting caught.Quote:

I smoke everyday and my friends don't live with me, does that answer your question. I love smoking both ways.
There's nothing wrong with smoking alone but i found that if smoking with people the max number is three people including yourself. Anymore than that and the blunt won't last long. It's a rewarding experience smoking with mature people though cause you can have real conversations not this chit chat bullshit "normal" people experience everyday.
