for all the concerned citizens of this website i think yall sould let everyone (including me) what risks there are to smokin weed......what does it do to you.....mental effects....and so fourth......please no bullsh*t responds to this like it makes you feel good...................weed has some people thinkin its bad and im curious what does it do 2 you besides make you feel good.....................thankyall for the hellp
there is a minor risk for panic attacks... that's the worst that has ever happened to me, and it only happens in cold weather, and not as often as it used to, when i first started toking.
accute paranoia is also possible, which might lead to that panic attack, but you have to remember, no two stoners truly get the same high or the same effects, everyone is physically an individual.
the effects are, however, extremely alike :) pretty much negates the individuality arguement lol
well of course the whole concept of smoking something is harmful to the lungs..... to a degree. Then there is the affect on short-term memory.
A panic attack as a result of cannabis use has some unique symptoms to it that you should be aware of. A racing heartbeat, or the feeling that you are going to have a heart attack, is one of the most commonly reported effects. Another heart related symptom is being able to feel your heart beat throughout your entire body, like a pounding almost. Palpitations might accompany this feeling too, as your anxiety might focus on your heart skipping beats. Hot and cold flashes as well as sweating have been reported. Another common symptom is tingling in the body and numbness of the limbs. Trembling or uncontrollable shaking has been reported, especially if you go from one altitude to another, smoke cigarettes, consume lots of caffeine, or take medications like Ritalin. Some users report visual and auditory hallucinations, but these are often confused with the effects of cannabis to increase the vividness of colors and sounds. Just remember, this is a psychoactive drug, but it is also a drug that has been used for thousands of years and no one has ever died from it nor has anyone developed a mental disorder because of their use, unless of course you are predisposed to one.

some types of weed can cause panic attack , get the right one for you, and for the heart related symptom's: it relaxs the arterial vaines so there is a new thing for the body to see and more blood to the brain and the rest of the body like playing sports your body gets a high from it, or taking a lot of deep breaths... the government trys
to keep the people sedate so they can walk all over them, by feeding the wrong types of poison food and drugs. they want a bunch of Sheep...

wow so marijuana is good for arterial functions?..........i allways thought it was doing damnage..............but what about hypertension? if marijuana causes hypertension and you have a weakening wall in a artery your fucked.............
well i ve been a heavy toker for years and i still have a heart rate of 60/min because i kept on training...if you stop doing exercise or if you start eating bad because of munchies than you will get hypertension, even if you don't smoke...smoking is not the only factor to hypertension, it can be, only if you live a lifestyle based on vegging all around, too oftenly associated with pot... :stoned:Quote:

my girl had a panic attack, but she only smokes once in awhile. i guess if you're trying to keep your weight stable, that's the only risk you have. when i first started smoking, i couldn't stay away from popeye's chicken.
Deep in the psyche of the mind lays the information that "cannabis is wrong" Cannabis is dangerous" Cannabis is ILLEGAL" "if you get caught you will be in big trouble" etc etc, "you will lose kids" Family, etc etc Job, etc etc
I dare say that the mind being condition to fear these things leads one to fear the act of using cannabis itself and quite possibly have a negative consenquence(s), such as Panic Attack, Paranoia, Anxiety, etc etc.
Develope your mind to the suggestion that conditions you to say "I am doing nothing wrong and i am willing to fight for my right to do as i please when it comes to my body, my mind, and my life".
Once you have conditioned yourself to believe that you have these rights and are willing to fight for them, perhaps some of the negative conditions that accompany the use of this illicit weed will vanish and/or be greatly reduced. My heart goes out to those who enjoy cannabis but have to deal with some of these feelings. Cannabis is intended to enlighten us and thats what it does. It is the negative energies from outside influence that complicates matters.
These are only my opinions and beliefs. If you believe that cannabis is somehow having a negative effect on your life it is ok to step back and stop using it. Just because you may stop using it doesnt mean that you cant support those of us who continue to use it for what ever reasons.
