lettuce, orange peels, you know...
and of course, airtight containers.
I hear the freezer :what:
:D
hmm i would like to know the solution to this also. my uncle gets a quarter of chronic but after 2 weeks its stale and doesnt taste as good and its kept in a baggy in a metal container.
Maybe too much air allowed in the baggie and the tin.Quote:

Mason Jars or any other tupperware/aitight container. Film Containers usually work well for smaller amounts of weed. You can also store in the fridge and the freezer if you need to store it for an extended period of time(months-years).
Wouldn't those mini M and M containers work? It's the only thing I have to keep the herb in right now.
The best thing is a food saver vacuum sealer. I've kept buds nice and fresh in them for a long, long time.
well my uncle has been keeping his bud in the frig with a apple slice in them for Decades..so it must be working.
That's a good idea.. if you don't want that meat.. i'll have it :DQuote:

or you can put your weed in a bag instead of mason jar, as long as the air isnt penetrating to the weed
ziploc my freinds ziploc
plastic bags leak air. glass jars with a rubber seal (mason jars) is best and keep it stored in the fridge (freezers will dry it out too and burst any cells with moisture left inside...not good). as long as your flowers have been properly dried and cured they'll keep for many months if kept in a cool and dark place...longer if kept refridgerated. i'm still smoking some hawaiian from '03 that's been kept in a jar in the fridge, and it still works very well and hasn't lost its flavor...
and only add fruits/veggies if your bud gets dried out. both can cause mold if not carfeully watched and generally is not needed unless your bud gets too crispy to roll. if it is needed, only leave it in long enough to refresh the flowers...then remove it.
Wow you either hardly ever smoke.. or just dip into the jar when you fancy it... oh unless it's a jar with like a pound of bud in :DQuote:

my bud is usually gone far before i need to worry about it going stale...
i thought about that food vac thing too...if you need to store large amounts of bud for a long time, thats the way to go man

or one just has many jars filled with flowers...sort of a multi-flower arraingement that happens when grows overlap. like now...have 6 diff strains from 3 diff grows dating back to summer crop of '03. had to buy a separate fridge for them...
Oh my.. i'd sit in front of the open fridge door all day every day, drooling all over the floor.Quote:
