just to give the #'s for all you unedamacated fools. That would be
179 (77%)= Republicans in favor of excluding the internet from FEC regulation
46 (23%)= Democrates in favor thereof
*****
143 (71%)= Democrats who voted not to exclude the internet from FEC regulation
38 (16%)= Republicans who so voted
prhaps we wont be able to talk on here soon, except for pissy and his irrelavant posts.
You know, I always thought this was a Canadian run website, turns out its in Wyomissing, PA , talk about a weird City name. and what kind of company name is Domagon, Inc?
The bill was defeated because it would allow virtually unlimited amounts of money to be spent on Internet campaign ads. Its defeat recognizes the Internet as a major form of communication by placing it under FEC rules and does absolutely nothing to hamper, in any way, freedom of speech.
thank you SO much, amsterdam!
all these years of watching conservatives and republicans crow about this being a christian nation and how society is too permissive and calling democrats and liberals non-moral-having hedonists got me thinking that the left was for freedom of speech and doing whatever one wanted...
you have made things clear for me!
democrats HATE freedom!
i see that now!
how could i have been so blind?!?
thank god the right is looking out for MY individual liberties and not concerning themselves w/ big business and massive coorporate spending.
you guys are so divided...
Democrats also believe that the Government should be able to take your Property from you and give it to other companies to build Condos, dont believe me? just look at the Roll Call for last nights Vote on States right of Eminent Domain which passed the house and now on its way to the senate
Shut up Tholiak.
all of what you guys are talking about is stricly propaganda...your political partys are acting based on this philosophy...there is no competitor like a dead competitor...one party trys to crush the other party only to have the final truth even if its lie...instead of working along to really help the country...Therefore i know i might be wrong so please explain me why...
divide and conquer
Online freedom of speach act? Is that one of those bullshit names like "patriot act" or "no child left behind?" Somehow I'm guessing it is. If the pattern holds, "online enjoy your slavery act" would be more appropriate.
Eminent domain is in the Constitution, dickhead.Quote:

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and think for yourselves!
Online Freedom of Speech was defeated to keep political parties from bringing in unregulated and unlimited amounts of money to wage political campaigns on the Internet; that's all it did.
Frankly the GOP should be thankful Democrats beat it. The Dems outraised Republicans during the last election cycle and that trend continues today.
whats unconstitutional is not being properly refunded which cities do all the time
