i just recently bought my fitst half 0 and im curious what the best way to store it is. rite now im using a tupperware container but is there any better techniques to ensure quatily/moisture, etc.??? Is it possible to use a humidifier like the ones for cigars?
You don't want it to be humid, keep it in an airtight container and it will stay fresh. I kept mine in a paintball pod which was air tight and it kept fresh for 3 months.

keep it in an airtight container in a cool place like your fridge. Don't store it in the heat or in your car.
you dont use a humidifier for cigars, you use a humidor. humidifiers put miosture in the air (you dont want your weed all wet and nasty, youll get mould eventually) a humidor just keeps the right amount of humidity in the air (like 60 something percent i believe). i think i may have heard someone mention putting your weed in one of them but idk how it would work. just a cedar box with a damp cloth or something is the very basic humidor. air tight container seems to be the best for weed as long as theres no moisture in there, if its long term you could use silica gell as long as it stays far from the weed.
To keep your buds fresh and to prevent them from deteriorating use an air tight container (glass jars work well) and keep it in a cool, dark place. You want to keep them cool and in the dark because heat and light work to break down THC. You also want to make sure that your buds are properly cured before storing them since if they are very fresh (with lots of moisture) mold can develop.
I use one of those Food Saver vacuum sealers. I actually have some Purple Kush sealed up and stashed away from a year or so ago. I opened it up again last week and it was as good as the day I got it.
I hurd putting orange peels in your stash keeps it fresh ... also puts a nice hint of orange taste when you smoke da bud... never tried it but i hurd it works...
i think thats more to make dry weed more moist than to keep it fresh. it would probably make it go bad faster over the long run.Quote:

Put it in an airtight container with dry ice in a freezer :)
mason jars are kickass.. the best way to store bud in my opinion.

the best thing is just keep it in what ever it came in, put that in a good container and put it in the back of your freezer... the first hit is so nice cuz its so cold and refreshing almost like the menthol version of pot except it doesnt crystallize your lungs
just put it in a bag and seal it. or put it in a vial
mine always stays in the zip lock bag i get them in cause it never lasts that long smoking your life away is a ounce every 3 days habit but knowing the right people makes things get easier but us a glass jar and the bag it came in is the best way i believe
I've heard that light is an enemey to thc, so air tight and not clear is recommended, 1dropdesign.com has some beauties, just started gettin the KB and found them on ebay.

my friend said he left his in an airing cupboard for about 3 days and when he was grining it, it turned to powder, but it was super strong ... might want to give it a go!

I keep my KB in a film canister in the freezer. Some people I know keep their bricks in a fridge or whatever, but by the time you get any smoke, chances are its probably been sitting out - probably in a bag at room temp - for so long that how you store it isn't going to make a big fucking difference. Fuck those websties and head-shops that sell "stash" containers; that shit is just a fucking rip-off. Hit Walmart and get a little cosmetics holder or something. I bought one for $3 that can hold a whole ounce.
I got half an ounce in a mason jar in a trunk in my closet, how long should it be good for? Also have an 8th in the same jar of weed I did the orange peel thing with and it's pretty moist now, what shall I do?
