I'm doing salvia for the first time tonight. I seem to recall reading that you need a special lighter, as an ordinary Bic won't work. That true?

never done it but everyone says you need to use a butane torch lighter because it can burn it alot hotter than a normal lighter, so it works better if burned hotter
use the butane lighter, or if you dont have one just keep the bic lit on the salvia the whole time.....o and use a glass bong with lots of water in it
doesn't have to be glass but definitely something with water to cool the smoke

yeah, i ended up using a bic but held the flame on it the whole time like you said. Got me fucked up hard. I melted into the floor and couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes.
most will say usin a torch but its not necessary if ur an experienced burner. i've fukn tripd on a whole 1/4 gram of 25x in a short foil pipe with a normal lighter with no probs.
I'd try putting ice in a bong.
Salvia d(ivinorum) is most certainly what you are looking for.
Never used anything but a normal lighter with Salvia without any trouble.
You use LESS Salvinorium I found when using a torch because you get more. Or you withstand a better (more intense) trip.
Take record of how you consume a bowl with a regular flame? Do you smoke a whole bowl? Three bowls?
