I heard Purple Urple is a good strain for pain relief.
What type of pain... Physical, or Mental? :confused:
emotional i bet...if its emotional, which for sure it is, make sure the strain is sativa, all the way man...
Yes!, Some Mowie Wowie would do the trick, otherwise find some good brownies for the additional phisical anti-body pain. Or both at the same time :dance:
na its for physical pain, I get these sharp stabbing pains in my arms and legs, nothing too horrible but it puts me in a bad mood when I get "mytery" pain and no one knows what it is.
my question is kind of relevant to this thread. my question is, what qualifications must one meet to receive a medical marijuana licence? and when i say 'qualifications', i mean symptoms.
try to go with a good 60% indica and 40% sativa...too much indica might make the pain worse though...
ok I had heard the sativa's were good for an "up" high but I had not heard that they were good for pain. that would probly make sense as most of the stuff around here sold is indica.

This state I am in (ohio) has pretty much decriminalized possession and growing of small amounts.
Interesting that this was brought up at this juncture, as I was just pondering that very topic. I was in a car accident about a month ago and my neck has been fucked up since, and as a result I get these unholy headaches. I've noticed recently that after I smoke a bowl, my head doesn't hurt so bad and my neck stops hurting. I attribute it to the weed I'm smoking right now, "Grandaddy Purps", I don't know it's geneology, but it's purple and dank. So in a roundabout way, that's my vote lol.
btw, i wasn't at fault in the accident, so their insurance is covering my medical bills
I've got one girlfriend who's a real pain in the ass. When she comes around I give her some reefer, we have some fun, then she gets lost. I guess that's a form of pain relief.

but you'd be better off packing up and moving to a more enlightened state that has legalized med use. i'm originally from indiana and really can't see anything even semi-radical being done in that part of the country in the near future. look at what happens to ann arbor every time they try to relax the laws...
seems like it's mostly the border states that are legalizing quicker than the interior ('cept for colorado), for whatever reason there may be...even alabama is looking seriously into legalizing med use!
I have noticed however that the counties in which med ganj use is legalized, are the extremely expensive to live in (california for example) the poorer counties in california still remain stuck in the past and the old drug laws. It seems the hippies are worth alot of money now.
but california is only one of 10 or 11 states with legal med use (depending on how you look at arizona's law). montana, maine, colorado, az, nevada and oregon are all what i'd consider low cost of living states ( i leave out the others only because i've never been there and don't know much about them). and judging from those i've met at meetings and dr's offices who are licensed, none are what i'd consider hippies. most are 'regular' folks and most work full time. one is even a fire fighter and another a county employee! then there's a few that are pretty fucked up from various accidents and/or other physical probs...but i'm the only longhair i know of in the southern nevada cannabis for medicine chapter of over 120 people that has received a license to grow/use/possess (and i'm no damn hippy either...lol).
ok, but licence or no licence the amount you can cultivate legally remains low (as far as I know) of course the legal "cafes" have got to be getting there stuff from someone, and this seems to be the "feds" problem, they bust the grower when they exceed there alloted growing amount. So Im not really sure what your getting at when you say to move somewhere with medical marijuana, other then it can then be legally purchased.
I have just found my new favorite for pain relief. Its called AK-48 and it is a beautiful smoke and makes some excellent quality butter to ingest for better physical pain relief. I dont know its lineage but I can vouch that it works great. I know there are others on this site that can vouch for it as well.
