Why is it that it's so hard to get high off Salvia? I've heard so many techniques from, fast hits, to torch lighters. I have tried it a few times with zero results except a mildly weird buzzing feeling, but nothing like the stories I have heard. Maybe you have to smoke that whole bag???? :confused:

I read some where...I think it was Erowid, that some people are born with a tolerance for salvia and never respond to it at all. It says something like that, anyway. I smoked leaves from a different company and nothing, but the 5x extract from A&M hit me right between the eyes.

Jesus, it's more than obvious you aren't smoking the salvia right. You have hit it and hold it in for 20+ seconds with perfect precision, no coughing, no spitting smoke out. Leave no smoke behind. It tells me two things. 1. You can't hit bud worth shit. Anyone who can rip a bong hit like a man will get fucked up off salvia. 2. It's important to have someone immediately repack the bowl so you take another immediately. You can get as fucked up off 5x as 20x it just requires a little more. Before you go out and buy more drugs, it's best to research them.

I had two small loads out of my bong. Held the first hit for 30+ seconds. Imediately upon exhale the room began to spin and I gained 400 Lbs. After a few minutes I was able to put the other pre packed bowl in and after smoking it in the same fashion was nicely toasted for about 30 minutes. I relaxed in a recliner and listened to a Moody Blues concert recorded in a small club in France in 1970. The high shut me down physically but did a good job of opening up the head. No unpleasant after effects at all. As a quick chill out I give it an eight out of a possible ten.
I'm sure Jesus can hit a bong as good as the next man. Now I'm no salvia because I personally think any kind of legal bud on the internet is total horse waste and I can imagine it doesnt get you high either. Another thing if you smoke weed the same way you say you smoke salvia I pitty you because holding weed in for that amount of time is pointless. Salvia was the most intense drug experience of my life(I've done weed, lots of shrooms, dxm, and various pills). I took one hit of 15x out of a pipe and held it for 20 seconds..immediately upon my exhale, i was gooneeeeee. :p
I feel sorry for the people that can't get full effects outta that stuff.
i know of heroin addicts, ok maybe not addicts but occasional users who tried salvia, some of which now grow their own salvia plants and use it more than heroin. and often talk of life changing experiences whilst on it...........or maybe their so fucked up from being smackheads that dont know their arse from their elbow....Quote:

To OrangeHairs INC: Dude, will you please do some research before you start calling something bogus...salvia is not a pot-substitute in any way, shape or form. Also, some people are born with a natural resistance to salvia...Jesus might just be one of the unlucky few who can't get anything from salvia(nonetheless I still recommend trying it a second time...just like how some people can't get high the first time they smoke mj, it might take a few honest times to feel any effects from the sage.)
first of all salvia is not a bogus drug. i know people who get really wasted on salvia preferably 10x its a proper mind altering drug. i work in a shop that sells it and we had the lad in who sorts our website, hes a right pothead and we gave him a bowl of 10x salvia and he had to go upstairs and lie down, we didnt see him for an hour. so get your facts right.......Quote:
