Meaning of: KB, Middies, Headies
i got into an argument the other day about street names for weed. my friend has allowed marijuana to get the best of him and he now lives and breaths sweet mary jane. anyhow, this kid argues that the weed he can get from average dealers is "KB" and "middies" and "headies." he says that this weed will be different from any weed i can get for the same price. i said that was stupid, because in the world of street marijuana, very few consumers can get the same type of weed consistantly. i also said that "kb" and "middies" refer to the quality not the genetics of the weed (KB = kind bud = smooth smoke, and middies = mid-quality) and that anyone who didnt grow or know the grower of the weed and still who claims to have "headies" is bullshitting. who is right?
BTW, i only refer to marijuana as mexican/bad weed, good weed, and awesome weed. i think that potheads who call average pot by specific names (white widow, NYC diesel, etc) sound stupid.

Meaning of: KB, Middies, Headies
I have one name for my weed.
Weed.
Good or bad, High or Low I will love thee forever.
I only have one alternative to weed.
Hash.
Good or bad, High or Low, I will love thee until I die.
As for illegal substances. That is all I consume.

Meaning of: KB, Middies, Headies
kb= kind bud, middies=average weed, step up from shwagg... not quite chronic, chronic= Good weed;kind bud... headies; chronic?
i'm not 100% sure what headies mean, maybe it just is a reference to "nugs"
-
Meaning of: KB, Middies, Headies
officially, headies are the buds from the top of the plant that started growing first and therefore have the most THC and whatnot. however, i dont think that one can prove that buds are actual headies unless they themselves picked the buds from the plant.

Ive always personally heard headies as just good shit. Though even if it is the colas, you can sometimes tell, mostly by the density and size of nugs. Around here though everyone knows what they have, down to the strain so I dont know how it is there.

stdz how much you pay for hash never heard prices before?
-
Meaning of: KB, Middies, Headies
Well he doesn't weigh it out until it gets to OZ's or bigger.
But this last sack I bought was 4 grams for 20 bucks. and it was DAMN good shit. Dark and everything but it showed up some kids "dro" last night.
Usually..for anybody else though his prices run just better than dro.
1.5g = 20
3 g = 40
1/4 = 70
1/2 = 130
zip = 200
that's the dark shit
now he's got some really really prime green hash fucking BOMB shit I smoked a bowl with him the other day now that he weighs out all the time because when he gets it..people want it
1g = 20
1/8 = 60
1/4 = 100
1/2 = 180
zip = 300
I get my zips for 180 though just because I've known this guy since I was a little kid, he used to babysit me.
'nuff said.
I'm about to reup on the "reggie" hash and get a 60 bag, which will probably weight out to a 1/2.

7g=1/4
14=1/2
28=1oz
1 gram of chronic usually runs 20$$. 1 gram of mids is about 5$$.

You're telling the topic creator to shut up, meaning you don't like what he's got to say, therefore you don't like the topic, pretty goddamn simple.

shit... i always thought headies meant weed that gave an uplifting head high, fuck me

Meaning of: KB, Middies, Headies
Confusions in nomenclature... Middies, headies, chronic, beasters, 'dro, schwag...the list goes on. Just inspect the weed and even ask to sample it before you buy it. But not paying attention to the strain you smoke seems to just be ig'nant, or apathetic.

The problem with all this terminology is that the definitions are different in different regions. Every time I make a new connection and they start slinging bs terms I just ask them politely to just tell me the basic quality. Low, medium, or high. I try to keep from getting caught up in the cannabis culture language when possible. There is only one term that truly irritates me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. When people call good bud "Dro", no matter how it was grown, it almost makes my head implode. That actually makes my left eye twitch. LOL :jointsmile:

THANK YOU! I finally sound someone who hates that term as much as me. I used to buy from a guy who would always refer to his bud as dro, no matter what. I realized he was a moron when I bought some "Purple Kush" off him; biggest jack ever. Some asshole must have dropped his grow room temps to get the color, and this guy's claiming it's the bomb DROOOOO. I wanted to straight up murder his ass...

I actually think we should all use the terms from High Times magazines Trans-Market High quotes. Works for me.
Schwag = crap weed
Middies = Mid-grade smoke
Kind Bud = Primo stuff, high price and one toke stuff
Now, if I could just AFFORD some Kind... :jointsmile:

It really depends on the area you are from, and who you hang out with.
In my area (East Bay, Cali) its either:
Bammer: low quality
Bud: reg.
Dank: good shit
Club: top qual- usually straight from the club

Nicks are usually however much they dealer wants to give you for 5 bucks, which it usually less then a gram. Same for the dime=10 bucks, still usually less than a gram. Smallest quantity most people buy is an 1/8th its pretty standard.

Old Timey Stuff:
Back in the day (Think Dazed and Confused, the 70's), as long as what ya got measured up it was:
1/4 ounce = a nickel bag and it was five bucks.
1/2 ounce = a dime bag and of course, it was ten bucks.
3/4 ounce = a lid - 15 bucks
1 Ounce = an O Z and that was twenty bucks.
Of pretty nice weed. The Columbians and Panama's, etc. went for just a little higher, as well as you, getting a little higher off the stuff. :jointsmile:
Gee, just think, getting an entire bag of weed for twenty bucks. Most dealers just "fingered", i.e. two fingers is half an OZ, four a whole OZ, and if he was generous, FIVE fingers for the same price of an ounce.
I miss the good old days... a little... :thumbsup:
