Mario NES SNES And Drug References

I have Super Mario All Stars and I just realized. This game is ALL ABOUT DRUGS!

"Mario walks up a ladder in his dream and hears a voice screaming for help. He opens a door and falls into a world"

He chases these mushrooms..and when he gets them he grows magically. He can magically fly once he touches a leaf and can spit fire when he licks a flower.

He is a plumber (wow how many homemade devices can be made out of plumbing devices) and he is in a world of turtles, little oompa loompa thingies, things flying in clouds and throwing stuff back down at you.

He rides in a yoshi. WTF is a yoshi anyways.

When he gets a star he is invincible. He can do anything and just pass right through the level..or as I like to call it the trip.

There are plants that spit fire and and plants that create ladders.

WTF. Whoever created this game (the person with the concept) had some very good imagination while on drug trips. This game is just fucking awesome.

Miyamoto had to be an acidhead.

lol its not a leaf its feather that makes him fly. Mario brothers is soo much fun :/ anyone know when mario first apeared in a video game? :D

In Donkey Kong.

And In Mario 3 it is a leaf.

Haha no lily, but I do know he was the referee in Mike Tyson's Punch-out. And does anyone remember the live action mario movie?

Hehe also in Mario 3 you have a racoon tail and you can turn into a BEAR with a racoon tail. YOu can become a frog..sit in a jumping shoe. HAHAHAHAHA

don't forget, he can also turn stoned when he has the racoon suit on.

the red and white mushrooms he eats bears a STRONG resemblance to the anaysha (sp) mushrooms that grow in japan and in china. honestly i think he should dump the princess. i dated a girl with a princess complex and belive me fighting spikebacked dinosours,and jumping over lava laiden pits is just par for the corse.

the music in mario bros is a spacific kind of music. they (in japan) listen to this kind of music WHILE TRIPPING.

yoshis island on the snes was the most tripped out by far, in that forest level when yoshi bumps into a floating puffball its like hes on acid or mescaline or both everything waving around yoshi cant walk straight, weird music , lots of strange things throughout the game

There's also some Asian frogs that when licked make you trip. That explains turning into the frog. And King Koopa also shows that Mario wants to stick it to the man.

Yep it was Donkey Kong and the year was 1981. I think Super Mario Brothers the game came out 4 years later in 1985 where Mario Mario (yes his 1st and last name are the same) and Luigi Mario (his brother) 1st teamed up. Many retards don't know that they were brothers or that their last names are Mario but just look at the title...Mario Brothers. Kinda like if you're last name is Smith, you and your brother would be called the Smith brothers.

actually i think most of the ideas are based on alice in wonderland where most of the drugs references first appeard

video games are quality iv got a nes and a snes set up in ma room!

ok nice link, i was told (by someone on this forum might i add:) ) that barely anyone smoked it over there and it was hard to grow, but from that link its looking like theres a good chance of it getting legalised sooner then round here :eek:
