9 weeks of flower, how does she look?
were at 9 weeks of flower today, has been on just water for
around 2 weeks, has lost most of her lower fan leaves...
are the little hairs that come out of the sides of all the bud
hairs trichs? if not there aint a whole lot of trichs on this plant. :(
any idea how close to harvest? ive never done it. harvest that is...

wow stewie...9 weeks... 63 days... getting to be a long flowering period... She looks GOOD! BUt she doesn't look ready to me... maybe another week.. or more... : (
But she looks like she will be worth the wait... SO many white hairs and so few brown hairs...
Are we looking at 2 or 3 different plants?

nope. just one plant, some shots are top and some are
lower areas. there are more and more red hairs everyday
it seems. maybe another week or so? she seems to have
gotten fatter from last week. i keep saying though there
are no trichs on this thing... so whether or not this is worth
anything more than a learning experience is yet to be known.
but i am pretty sure my sweet tooth 1.1 is a girl, so hopefully
she'll be nice when she grows up.

Your plant looks like to turned out well; great job. Couldn't really say how clsoe you are though.

can anyone answer as to the window of
time that the trichs stay cloudy? i know
there are millions of trichs all going at
their own rate, but just the average?
will they stay cloudy for a week, or a
day or an hour or???

9 weeks of flower, how does she look?
alright, somebody please answer... i noticed today that
she seems to have developed a bunch more trichs, or
at least a lot more trichs are visible to the plain eye.
do more trichs develop through flowering this late? or
are they just finally now getting to be mature?
also... since i didnt count on a prolonged flower i stopped
bloom nutes and it seems shes almost out of fan leaves to
feed off... even way up at the main top kola the leaves that
are part of that are turning quickly yellow... will she last
as long as i need her to flower? or once the fan leaves are
gone am i screwed?
thanks.

shes ready then...

Since you have the microscope...cool...You should harvest when you have a really good blend of clear.cloudy.amber trichs...the more cloudy/amber=more body high
...the more clear/cloudy trichs=more heady high...when you see amber trichs; then you start finishing for harvest...
It is a bit of judgement and a bit of personal taste...also, If I had a narcotic Indica, then I might go for more of a heady high...more clear trichs than amber...
If I have a heady sativa, then I might lean towards more amber trichs...See what I mean? I hope this helps you out, you have the right tool. Good Luck

man nice job... haha almost looks like your cat is scared of that monster :) Can't wait to find out the dry weight!

as of now i cannot really see any amber trichs... lots of cloudy though... not
too many clear hanging on... once they start turning amber how long do i have
before they all start turning amber? because i would probably like to keep her
in the dark for 48 hours before cutting down and then i know that trichs still
develop for a few days after cutting...
tomorrow [monday] is 10 weeks...
garden, tomorrow ~9.30pm eastern, there will be new pics... promise...
she'll get her weekly gallon of poland spring and photo shoot as usual...

you have to be patient...lighting, temps, feeding...etc... all effect timing...you just have to wait until you see trichs...no-one can pinpoint how long YOUR plant is gonna take...

9 weeks of flower, how does she look?
todays pics... 10 full weeks... no amber trichs to be found, but
the very bottom most bud has some seeds forming in it... i thought
i had the boys out before there was any chance of pollination??!?!?
i guess all it takes is one... no other seeds anywhere though...
she is getting stickier... but im afraid shes nearly out of fan leaves...
will i be ok?
hows she looking overall?
thanks.
ps. the cat returns because he thinks hes a celebrity now...

hehehehehe... : )
just a little... its the weakest growth on the plant.
ill dry it upside down over the next few days...
did this last week too... tried it sunday... theres
potential... hopefully this week will be better... plus its
easier for microscopic investigation off the plant...

Hey Stewie, what's the latest? Is she still alive? I was wondering how the bigger buds, including the main kola, feel? Are they airy or do they feel heavy? Did you mist during this grow? How tall is she?
Gorgeous plant, btw...

yeah id say about that... smaller pots help keep the plants
under control when your starved for space... check my 11 weeks
thread for the newest pics...
more pics once the chop is done... :( :( :( :( :(
